I have the newest model of this with the copper colored barrel and it has fed everything from commercial reloads all the way up to 147 hps. Never a single issue. Utterly reliable and very accurate.

Theyre supposed to be broken in before shooting 115 in the heavy spring. Thats why they come with several
Manual pretty clearly says it needs 100-200 rounds on 124gr to properly break in. The heavier spring is for +P ammo. Which the manual also pretty clearly mentions. This is to provide the comp with the ideal amount of gas to function at peak performance, which is tough with 9mm. 115 gr also doesn’t have the energy at the muzzle to cycle that heavy spring which should be an obvious consideration when you buy something with a compensator chambered in 9mm with an 18lb spring. I’m also assuming based on your other comments you didn’t lube it up before shooting it. Not sure if you knew this, but pro tip, the oil that comes from the factory is meant to prevent rust, not necessarily a great representation of optimal lubrication.
Mine never had a malfunction shooting 115gr fmj out the box with the 15 pound recoil spring
Maybe change the spring and then shoot the 115. They even say to do that in the manual it comes with..
We plan on changing the spring and testing again, when we do these reviews we literally pull the pistol fresh out of the box and shoot it as is. It just seems an odd choice to ship it from the factory with a spring that won't cycle 115s which most people will be shooting. It would make much more sense to ship with the lighter spring and have the stiffer one as an option in thew box for the guy who knows he wants to shoot 124s or some hotter loads
My DR920P had 5 or 6 FTE out of the box…now it runs like a scalded dog…
I haven’t had any trouble with mine. 115gr 124gr and 147gr zero issues. Total round count 700+
Try 124gr.

Save yourself the trouble and dont buy this gun. however, if you did discard the 18lb spring.
Lame review.All shadows need a break in 200 rounds.
