The Stop Sticks In The Trunk Are Basically, Used To Stop Suspects In High Speed Pursuits, When Ran Over Suspect's Vehicles Tires Get Punctured, Lose Tires/ Shred Tires, Normally Would End Pursuits
They cool
But your friends in the hood won’t like it
It’ll make them look like a snitch hoping in
As long as they have been maintained well you will be fine. Waterpumps go out eventually so check to see if it's been changed, PTU should be fine as long as fluids get changed. CHP use their explorers past 200k miles so you'll be fine. I have a 2015 FPIU with 131,500 miles no issues. Chargers SUCK stay away from the chargers. The chagers get knocks in the engine and don't last too long.
Yea i heard that as well about the waterpumps and the turbos on these are very costly to maintain.
@@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 I just purchased a Taurus Interceptor an hour ago lol, time to sell the FPIU
@@zanderplant3575 did you get the 3.5 liter or the 3.7 liter???
I’ve spotted one for sale 2013 80k miles black for 9k it was a detective. Still has the spotlight, lights in the grill, rims
I would of got it but the eco boost version has much more problems than the regular version.
I have one. This can fly!
Yes get it eco boost is shite.👍
the tauras is way better than the crown vic I had both. the eco boost tauras Is the fastest cop car in my opinion
Yeap unfortunately they didn't sale as good as the other cars so they got discontinued. The crown vic is still more dependable than it though.
@@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 no honestly I think the crown vic has way more problems the transmission always go and the diff always blows as well.
@@delandgoon thats because people forget to change or check their rear differential oil. My 2008 cvpi had this problem resulting in my transmission messing up.
@@unmarkedpursuitvehicles2up584 dat is true. mine blew out but before the transmission blew out
@@delandgoon dang that sucks
I would only get the 3.7 v6 for durability from what I’ve heard.
I’m planning getting one too
thats probably going to be my next vehicle or the chevrolet tahoe.
Yes get the car bri I want to see videos on the car
I own the 2014 & 2016 Ford utility police interceptors, Amazing cars!!!!! Had the 2014 for 4 years , No Issues! The 2016 for 2 years almost with no issues! .... Unlike Mr.Negative pants ATX-CVPI saying the water pumps go out and that's the reason they are junk is BULL SHIT!! Yes, the pumps tend to go out or start to have issues at or around 110K Miles.. That's the only big issues these cars have. There's a very simple thing you can do. Buy one of these amazing cars with low miles so you'll be fine for years to come Or replace the water pump when it nears that point of being replaced. It only cost around $1,500 for parts and labor and you'll be good for another 100k miles.. If you live in a winter state such as my self the AWD w/ winter tires is sweet as hell! The crown vic will always be king in my book But it sucks in the snow.. The Taurus is the best upgrade from the crown vic if you wanna keep the sedan look going. I've owned one. Great car.. But the utility offers more space, So I'm sold on the utility. As for the Impala/Charger/Tahoe/caprice.. I've owned em, F*ck em all.. They suck. They may look nice but don't handle as well as Fords.. Impalas have way to many issues with the transmissions going out even with low miles on the car & good maintenance .. The charger is sweet, But unless you spend more to get one with AWD you're better off with a crown vic. The Tahoe with it's big A$$ & RWD sucks balls.. They get stuck way to easy... The caprice is a sweet A$$ car, But parts cost a lot of money if you have to fix it also the parts come from Australia.. I'd like to rent one and have some fun with it.. But I wouldn't wanna own one.... So as for this video, If you like the Taurus get it.. But I'd for for the 3.7L modal to be safe. Unless you're getting this car for a great price! :) Just my opinion... Not a hater on the other car's. Just with my experience they fall short from from what ford offers..
I definitely agree all cars and suv have their pros and cons. I'm getting one of the other though cuz my wife wants me to get out of our suv lol. She said I'm putting too many miles on it since I'm driving up and down the highway.
$1500 for a water pump is unacceptable for a car repair for a mass produced car. Plus you have to replace the timing chain, tensioners, and guides and timing chains should not fail at any time before 200,000 miles. Most water pump replacements are $500 including labor.
@@atx-cvpi_99 good point
Look clean
Hell yea
How much? I have the 2015 3.7 motor great on the freeway cruise at 70 easy
not sure
I’m buying a 2017 Ford Taurus police interceptor next week 5.5L ecoboost v6 105,000 miles on it
Sweet and thanks for the subscribe I returned the favor
They don't make a 5.5l
@@carstuff4u942 he probably means 3.5 aka the sho engine
So did u get the car, and how is the car if u did?
no I got a 2014 charger with the hemi now. I'm in the process of finding one though with the 3.7liter
Is it good on gas?
I heard it was
Does this have built in Bluetooth or what do you need in order for Bluetooth in the car
I believe all Taurus interceptors has bluetooth in it.
Not all. It is an option
No you should not buy any Taurus and Explorer. They are absolute junk especially the EcoBoost. The water pumps are well known to destroy the engine because they are driven by the timing chain and the AWD models have PTU failures. Just get another Crown Victoria or buy a Charger or Tahoe instead. I would even buy a Caprice PPV before I buy this POS. Even Crown Rick Auto said they are not reliable and he’s a used car dealer that sells ex cop cars. Another bad cop car you need to run away from is the 06-16 Impala and any Dodge Intrepid or Charger with the 2.7 or the 3.5 V6 or even the 5.7 Hemi. The only Charger I would buy is the 3.6 or if it was a V8 it would be the 6.4 or 6.2 supercharged. It’s true that the Taurus and Explorer are not as dependable as a Crown Victoria.
I definitely agree with you on that. We will see what happens. What is the PTU you are talking about?

@@atx-cvpi_99 ok yea I heard alot about those too. That's why most department stay with vehicles that is rwd.
I don’t know what crack your smoking I’m chugging into 180k with the same water pump and ptu. But then again I have my car on a good maintenance schedule and don’t miss it🤷🏽♂️
despite it looking and performing better, I think the crown vic is more dependable
Amen
I've owned three and replaced the engine in my lx sport once🤷🏽♂️ easy to work on and that 4.6 will take a beating!!! Got hit by drunk driver and put one in the wall at 70 then drove it home.
I have one of these. It's a good car no doubt! But the Vic's were tanks!
No
Keep in mind that water pump is 1400$
Yeap I've been hearing this is the major issue of it
