Good tip is if you are defending play time instead of engaging in every gunfight it’s painful how many games I’ve lost because my team doesn’t play time

This is what my bronze homies don’t understand. I used to be a Plat 3 WAY BACK when Jackal/Mira was the most recent operator that had released at the timeand Diamond was the highest rank you could receive. Stopped playing and came back to the game Y6/S4 and placed high Gold 2. The game has changed so much over time and those who have kept up and stayed playing have adapted to every operator/map updates. As where I had to basically relearn the game. Setups and map pools and even game modes I was used to playing was all changed and for the better it makes R6 extremely competitive. Timing is one of the most important aspects in the game and being a defender and having the advantage of pushing the clock to it’s time limit is a great performance issue a lot of players don’t have in the game. The amount of times I’ve lost a round just cause my teammates are hard pushing for the last player instead of playing time annoys me. People get kill hungry if they’re having a shitty game and start losing composure and eventually end up with a L. Please play smarter guys. You make the game harder for yourself when you don’t use each tool to your advantage.
If you have man advantage early that does not mean swing everything and become angro on defense. That means play for time hold passive angles force them to come to you while you still have the advantage. To many rounds lost on defense because people don’t know how to play for time. Rounds over kills 100%
I wish more people would understand you can force them to push when you are on defense.
Athieno is the only youtuber that I continuously finish full videos. Other youtubers just dont hit the same

You didn’t have to lie to him the whole time😂 but respect for holding onto how you said he could go to diamond, that C4 was basically an accident, bro is peeking the only hole in a double soft wall, running through site past windows and rotates like crazy, leaning the wrong way and panicking in most situations/gunfights runs into 2 nomads 💀 calls 1 bait cause In the moment bro was panicking and was too scared to shoot the nomad (hense how he missed a ton of shots on that drone not moving) nomad didn’t swing for some reason or shoot back whatsoever and he’s also playing with friends so it’s dope he sent you probably his best game ever, but there’s a lot more room to improve and you can tell he’s at most a gold 3 player, no shame, just improvements to make
Not throwing 1vX's is so important

To rephrase I would say if you are up in numbers, don't give your enemies 1v1 gunfights. Instead, hold crossfires or push people with the opportunity of a refrag if you or they die
@@BySixa oh yeah for sure i okay xbox n plats are really bad at choosing good moves sometimes like cross angles and not peaking and tbh if i droned alittle more and got a stack i could hit diamond at the same time i gotta not peak as far out cuz i do that way to much but yeah people gotta learn not to get greedy n just sit n watch diffuser or obj if you’ve got a man advantage and to not peak dumb stuff
A good reason to stay on cams. Or play maestro. Going aggressive just because of a 1v5 won’t always work.

The first guy was definitely mnk, athieno doesnt do console gameplay so he probably did not notice
your tips are great but from my experience on console only higher ranks know how to use quick peaks so you’re more forgiven for holding the same angle like that.
edit: i got to plat 2 on console and when i think about it i never really used quick peaks. the game is a lot slower paced until you get to higher ranks with mnk players. there is a lot more people who have xims now i got banned in shadow legacy
Quick peaks are much harder on console a controller isn't as functional
@@ThouArtOfWar0724 I personally think the only short coming a controller has is the aim. Point and click is a lot easier and understanding exactly how your sensitivity affects your stick movements.
I mean im not sure what console you play on but im currently the lowest rank in my 5 stack at P2 & quick peaking is used every match personally & throughout our stack.

One time my teammates were so slow we ran out of time cus 4 of the team were 1 room into the building while I had to wait near sute. Then they all died and I died in a 1v4

I suggest adding another condition to your form to not send in winning VODs. There is ultimately not much point in sending in a winning clip if the objective is to learn from mistakes, even though you may be able to still provide commentary.
Normally if there’s nothing to talk about, I’ll skip the clip. Good point tho!

@@zombie3317 that was from a long time ago. Since then we have completely taken it apart blew out and cleaned the heat sync and added thermal paste and you can’t hear it anymore. 😂

This is why I say as a old level 300 PS4 plat 3 player going to PC why console ranked felt like kids league. Controller gun skill carries you super far so you never have to properly understand utility or strats.

Console players use the same strategies as pc players. Half the people in higher ranks use mouse and keyboard now anyways.

Any tips for not being in constant stress/panic while playing? I find my heart rate gets super high, even just during setup. It really messes up my aim and movement.

How do u expose urself less
U said be careful someone could be at the window so don’t run. So walk is the only way to approach it?
What’s is a passive angle
Swinging is to strafe outward from cover usually prefiring as you do it.
You expose yourself less by playing behind and around cover.
Walking is not the only approach to someone at the window you can prefire the window so if they peek you they die or just dont cross the window if you dont have to.
A passive angle is an angle where you do not expose yourself to the place the enemy will come from and you wait for them to swing you or you swing them off a callout or audio que.

@@HotBoii91 Theres videos that show and explain passive vs aggresive angles i'll try to explain it. Aggresive angle is where you are holding a line of sight and when an enemy passes it you can shoot them. Passive angle is where you can swing based off of a callout or an audio que or you wait for them to swing you and you kill them.

You Ash/Zofia/Nade the Bandit/Kaid gadgets from below and you open wall, or Kali gadget them or Twitch drone taser them or Thatcher emp them aint banned which is rare. Just because the wall is electrified dont mean you cant get rid of the electroclaw or shockwire and open wall.

The video feed you are watching is after game not a live recording It is the video editor, go to "watch" in game once you load up siege and it will show you all players positions so you can become better with your "Situational Awareness" or "Strategical Placements"
