L&BR Appeal 2020

Currently the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway cannot operate trains or welcome visitors to the line. This is of course a result of the COVID-19 outbreak which has ongoing effects in all walks of life, not just the railway. The result is that the income the L&B needs to maintain the line, rolling stock and properties is denied to it. Please give your support to ‘On Track’ the appeal set up to keep progress ‘on track’ through this period and in the aftermath.
The L&BR Trust is assisting in filling the large gap in the L&BR CIC’s finances during these troubled times. The Trust has many demands on its funds for the reconstruction of the railway, the TWAO costs, land purchases, carriage & wagon restoration and much else. Therefore we need your assistance to plug this gap and enable our railway to survive and be ready to blossom and bloom once again when life returns to normal.
Donations to ‘On Track’ will be eligible for Gift Aid where applicable and we would appeal for your assistance to ensure the L&B’s progress is not jeopardised in these uncertain times.
