Fuel average engine performance and smooth running depends on how better your Tappet setting is.For setting Tappet on Perkins engine valve clearance the 4-cylinder process is the same.
For setting Tappet on Caterpillar engine valve clearance the 4-cylinder process is the same.
For setting Tappet on Cummins engine valve clearance the 4-cylinder process is the same.
For setting Tappet on Mitsubishi S4L engine valve clearance the 4-cylinder process is the same. The clearance might be different but the process is the same for all engines for engines firing order 1342.

That’s for weichai engine intake is installed from Perkins but engine is weichai. Check your engine valve clearance according to engine manufacturer recommendation

Find TDC exhaust on number 4 and 1 cylinder if you can find that adjusting tappets is simple

@Technical.Education I can see 4 intake manifold port is lined up with very back of engine too. Same with #2 cylinder, exhaust toward front, intake toward back Strange, #1 and #3 are intake, exh order as shown in your vid. I'll make a video. Is it possible intake exhaust order switched on some engines?
