Items I used in this tutorial:
-pencil and or marker
-ruler and measuring tape
-sewing machine and serger
-bodice measurements (watch linked video to learn how to take measurements).
-skirt measurements:
Waist measurement
Waist divided half radius (3.14)
Skirt length w/o waist measurement= total length of garment - bodice
Overall skirt length= skirt length w/o waist measurement + waist divided by half radius measurement
Total amount of fabric needed for skirt- at least 3.5 yards
Total amount needed altogether- 5 or more.

As salaam Alaikum hey sis just wanted to say SHUKRAN SHUKRAN SHUKRAN. I have watched this video MULTIPLE times, till one day i actually took notes on each step you provided and i input my daughters measurements. Along with the technique of using the bottom portion from the skirt for the bodice. Now everything matches. We use solid colors and the variations SHOWS if use left over fabric.

I mostly use ity fabric or any other stretch fabric. Non stretch is good too but you’ll have to add the correct seam allowances.
