I had leukemia in 2017 when i was 11 years old. I couldn't even go outside, my therapy was so intense, it gave me infections easily. I was basically isolated until i turned about 12. My therapy is ended, my maintenance therapy is ended. And i am a happy 14 year old today, laughing and smiling. :)

I have Lukemia.. AML... Blood cancers are treatable with chemo and bone marrow transplant. I'm in remission at 57 years old. She's young and with the right Dr will be fine after treatment. Good Luck

I am so very happy for you. It's not due to doctors really. All forms of leukemia, any cancer for that matter, follow the same protocol unless they are participating in an experimental treatment. (Which many people as it is the only to develop new treatments.) Different leukemias have different survival rates. Now days of course treatments have come a long way. My mother was diagnosed with AML in 1988 and lived 23 months despite receiving a bone marrow transplant. It is my faith and opinion that if the Lord says it's time to go home, it doesn't matter what the treatment. We stay and recover or return to his realm and leave this one.
Thanks for the information, hopefully she becomes a better person and contributes someway back as well.
