I have seen Larry use a modified flamethrower burn down an orphanage. He then preceded to throw the bodies into the near water supply, completely ruining it. He would also throw napalm down chimneys into open fires. There were over 5000 casualties by this... *thing* alone

A bite at Freddy's I think is the best spin-off. Doesn't take itself too seriously (Threadbear), the animatronics all got their charm with their designs, and a fairly casual pace it seems

As for animation quality we want to match the quality of the animated series
Oh that’s great to hear! I am genuinely interested in it. I don’t have anything against the overall project btw, just concerned and unhappy with some of the marketing choices. Knowing the game is unrelated to most of that gives me a lot more hope :)

Kandyland's designs are really good and there's potential here, though their reliance on Suzy as a main mascot really shows their priorities. Money and a thirst trap used to attract kids to their product. I see how well done everything is, but I still have worry over how it will be handled, I just don't wanna see another soulless character-horror game just like PPT again.
Already a big red flag before Suzy is the channel’s reliance on trends.
Previously they made videos on Resident Evil, fine enough, but once they made videos on FNAF, they _kept_ making FNAF videos, barely straying. When they did stray, it was testing the waters with CoD or Apex Legends.
Probably why they went to NFTs for profits.
I mean…personally, I LOVE Suzy’s design, tho she doesn’t come off as a “Suzy” to me. I feel like she should have a bit more of a unique name and not a human one despite her humanoid appearance. I think she could be Taffy or Lolly/Lolli! It’s a very cute, fits thematically, and (imo) realistically simple name that kids can pronounce.
@palecaptainwolfkayls8499 Every creator on this platform does this. They most likely did nfts due to the controversy which would draw back attention to them while also giving them money for their game. NFTs aren't bad at all, it was just because of some creators ruining it for everyone

Considering that Kandyland has a now sizeable audience, i dont see why they dont start a crowfunding and drop the NFT bs. NFT has such a bad rap in the broader populace, that including it will negatively affect the product, regardless of the intentions.
Is how would they drop the nft thing? They're already made.

My exact thoughts honestly. I was wondering why they kept making NFTs to fund their game when they're not very popular and the audience is big enough and desesperate enough to give them the money they need
This won't be my last long-form video on this channel, but it will probably be one of the last that isn't a shorts compilation. Most of my audience isn't interested in the type of videos I enjoy making (just look at all the comments saying "great video" who probably only watched it for 20 seconds, because as of writing this the video has been out for 30 minutes), so I'll just focus on shorts on this channel. I purposefully structured this video so only the people who watch most of this video can find my new channel, which will have more content like this in the near future. I'm not trying to be bitter to my audience or guilt trip people into watching my videos for longer, but it's really tough making videos for an audience that only enjoys your videos if they're less than 60 seconds long. I want the expectation on my new channel to be that each video will be around 20 minutes long.

The fact that the Kandyland nfts was the fake Fnaf3 fake trailer was insane.
Hey, I worked on a few stuff behind the scenes and some additional sounds in A Bite at Freddy's (that's me "Burb" in the game credits, I made the jumpscare noise and some others)--I'm really glad that you like the whole product, especially to the level of it being your favorite recently, there was a lot of time and love put in to it!
And I have to tip my hat (pun intended) to Mario & Luigi/Super Paper Mario backing tracks.
oh, that's really cool! The time and care put into the game really shows, and I'll never stop using those Mario & Luigi and Super Paper Mario songs, those games were my childhood and they still go hard
Besides from NFTs mainly being a scam, they're more like owning a digital receipt instead of actually owning the image. They also do MASSIVE harm to the environment through the minting process. I'd be a lot more excited for the project if they dropped the NFT schtick and just sold merch, like digital wallpapers, or physical posters, literally anything to support the project. Also, if I remember correctly, the narrator guy in the trailer was actually an AI voice, which is a big yikes imo.
Yeah the continued usage of crypto and AI doesn't make me feel so comfortable with the game, also their choices on advertisement are something..
Someone else commented on how the team can just switch to crowdfunding instead of NFTs since they don't have a good reputation and their audience is big and desesperate enough for a game they would give them the money they need right away, and I feel like that's a better option bc if the audience is monetarily involved with the game we could get more information of its process, its content and the team

A bit surprised you didn't mention anything a about the pedo stuff in Dormitabis. Both the OG creator and the end boss talk about pedo crap, and I was curious if they cut that from the remake or not (as you said the remake was made by a different team).

It is a bit of a dick move they used NFT to fund the project. But... I'll give it a pass if they actually release the game, or turn it into a feature length CZcams movie. The designs are so cool and the setting looks fun.
I have absolutely no issue with them using nfts to fund their game. Now, I wouldn't buy any of them, but the episodes were free to watch, and since the game looks like it doesn't have a publisher supplying them with money, maybe for creative reasons, there's not really any other options for funding besides maybe merch or crowdfunding.

@@sylvo1057 Yeah, a patreon or a Kickstarter (is that even a thing anymore), or GoFundMe would be a better choice. But I guess maybe this is a high stakes high reward kinda thing? Like, I know a lot of projects on patreon and kickstarter don't usually happen, or take way too long than it should take, or don't give rewards fast enough. So maybe the creators look at this and go "Okay we used NFTs, a thing that could ruin our credibility/reputation/respect. Let's get moving people!"

An important note about NFT's and why they are a scam is that the ownership thing is a lie. There is nothing about NFT's that conveys ownership over anything but the NFT itself, which is seperate from any content its related to. Like... if you bought a springtrap NFT, you don't get the rights to springtrap, or the image of springtrap used to represent that NFT, or the ability to use springtrap in a personal project, or anything like that. All you get is a code on a blockchain that someone says is related to an image of springtrap. The whole "Save image" joke is all based around the fact that someone who just has the image file owns exactly as much rights over that image as someone who owns the NFT related to that image.
The only exceptions to this would be if someone minting the NFT's explicitly went to the effort to give the end user legal rights over the final design, which is often never the case, and even still the NFT would have little to no connection in that process, besides maybe being used as an extremely flimsy token of ownership that could be lost or stolen at any time.

Everyone knows you own the image, model, or ect... that is included in the nft. You're not revealing hidden knowledge. You don't own that image, you own a copy. If I printed out a famous art piece that doesn't mean I own it
I'm not trying to imply this but when I first came across the trailer. It really screamed, you know? 5 nights at Freddy's thedean. Love the little trailers for the game. I just hope we get a game. Or maybe at least a good theory.🐻💛
One thing about kandyland im pretty sure of is somewhers they confirmed they want to steer away from the nft thing. I think it was either confirmed on twitter, or their discord. Or im completely delusional
Man I hope because I'm sure a good chunk of the community wouldn't be comfortable with the game if it's related to NFTs, like regardless of your opinion on them it's clear they don't have a good reputation so either as an ethical action or a marketing choice it's better to just leave them
I used to work at an orphanage, we mainly worked with younger kids, toddlers, and infants. I could never forget the day Larry walked in that door, dragging a full sized basketball hoop on the ground. Moral of the story, babies don’t work as good basketballs, and Larry is a heinous criminal.
All nft projects are scams by default cause they’re worthless by default. Though i hope goldenlane can get something going cause they’re pretty talented over there.

i personally LOVE the dormitabus animatronic designs. they work in so much lore, unanswered questions, etc. the original plot? not a fan. but the remaster, is the best fan game i think ive seen

Ya know, I keep hearing people say that Kandyland's character designs are really good, but they really aren't. They look like if Sister Location was a Marvel movie with how EXTREMELY over designed they are. Add the fact that it was funded by NFTs and you have what is easily just automatically the worst FNaF fan game ever, just for relying on something that is just extremely horrible for the environment to fund it. Doesn't matter if the NFTs aren't the project, they are objectively bad, and the creator never should've relied on them.
Fr, like they are good looking and very HD but when I look at them I just get a feeling that they're nothing but high resolution 3D models. ESPECIALLY SUZY. I really hate her design, she's just a generic girl with pigtails and a themed dress, the only good thing I can take from her is that it's kinda cool that she has roller skates but still that's kinda used very weird(?
It just seems like the whole project has too much "NFT feel" even if they try to branch away from them. I'm afraid that the game will turn out very empty and disappointing, especially since people genuinely see good potential in it
Larry once shot 12 zombie infections into animals, and ruled over them like some kind of weird god. We were able to stop it, but whilst he had those zombimals (zombie animals), it was utter chaos. I mean, two kids wearing a skeleton and pumpkin costume danced on my way to chuck-e-cheese!

Exactly. It’s obviously not perfect, but it has enough charm to it where it’s good enough. Given that we already have news the second one is being made, it’ll use the first movie as a means to improve.
@@natetag I think the main reasoning for people hating the movie was that they came in expecting to be scared, only to be immensely disappointed at how not-scary it was. I literally have never watched a horror movie or played a horror game before the movie, so imagine my disappointment when the first piece of actual horror media I consume (which is based off of one of the most successful horror franchises of all time) failed to even get a smidgen of terror out of me. As a self-proclaimed coward who gets spooked very easily, I was understandably ticked off when my first actual brush with horror media was this pathetically un-spooky.
Id give it a 7/10 as the middle was so bad it is the main meme about the movie

Also I do love GoldenLane Studio but to think they made the Kandyland concept they had that I, myself thought would become a game and not just an NFT thing. It looks like it is in the making and the NFTs were (I hope) able to help out with the funding. I hope to see more changes in the future and am equally excited for what is to come.
Love how on the game over sceens in ABAF look like animatronics just want to eat the food. Combines nicely with the cute designs for that game

I hope Kandyland gets made, they probably will have to cut back on their graphics a bit as they are movie level which is really hard to maintain in a video game. The NFTs are a bit weird but I actually think it's more ethical then running a kickstarter that they might not be able to deliver on which is the more common things. To me it feels like a cross between FNAF and Poppy Playtime like that trailer made me think so much of Poppy. But hey not everything has to be totally original it's about taking something that is well known and putting your own spin on it.
50:21 sooo... the background music is a mix between a sped up version of the music in that "guy with stupidly big butt attracting followers" meme and the sound effect of the turtles from Mario games stopping to sing "ba-ba" and dance with the music.

Man, I hated it when Larry abducted me in my sleep, and forced me to watch as he resurrected Vlad the impaler as an shambling reanimated corpse using the necronomicon and discarded robot parts, and trapped me in Vlad's mind. I was able to convince Vlad to give me control of his body, and I'm currently typing this from Vlad's zombified corpse.

the only thing i'm personally upset about is that since goldenlane's main focus is now kandyland, it's sad that their other projects like - two evil eyes, and their fnaf series. are most likely never going to be finished, unless one day they choose to remaster them, but, i highly doubt that, since they've moved on from sfm, it was a thing they were so well known and adored for, such a shame..

FNAF Fangames have been hit and miss these past several years, also it’s funny how you had to use Subway Surfers gameplay to try and keep people entertained and for them to not leave.

My favorite fnaf fangame of this year and my favorite fangame of all time is playtime with Percy. Unique, fun gameplay, nice art style and super fun to replay and a banger soundtrack.
My problem with most FNAF fan games is most of them are just games that use the actual FNAF characters instead of using Original Animatronics (OCs). I prefer games like FNAC, Those Nights At Rachel's, Mary's Arcade etc. that use NEW animatronics that aren't just characters stolen from the main FNAF games. Creaters ironically need to be more creative. Also, I find the free roam games boring. I like when people actually make new lore and the gameplay is just them sitting in an office, but with unique characters and a unique restaurant/location.
I know I've messed up with my recommendations when I'm watching a video of a guy talking about FNAF with Subway Surfers playing constantly.
