Belt driven Tantillus 3D printer running

  • I have had my Tantillus reprap printer running for a week now and here is some video showing what's been going on.
    I modified the printer to run on belts and pulleys as I did not like the grindy gear sounds. I am happy with the printer, I need to heat the bed next.

    Thanks for answering me on my privious question. I too am building the metric version of the tantillus now. From willwork for plastics git. I just have one question for you and it is: Could I ask where you got your belts and what size pulleys you use?
    Also i look forward to seeing your heated bed :)

    Get one of those Dremel polishing disks, and poke the filament through that, and watch it collect all that dust.

    I'm currently building one. I can't find anywhere a picture or the schematics for the 1602 LCD and encoder. Can anybody help?
