Surprisingly this is the highest ls3 vette we have done. The last one we dyno made 380 stock. But it was a base model. We really did think this one had head work or something to make it more. But it was all stock.

Great video. I have a 05 Tahoe w/ a new GM Crate engine 5.3 short block, new 799 heads, BTR Truck Norris 533/533 lift 109 lobe separation, dual valve springs, BTR pushrods, trunion rockers, and Magnuson TVS1900 Supercharger on a 2.8 pulley making 10 ish PSI on 42lbs injectors at the moment. I just upgraded the transmission from a 4L60E to a built 4L80E 3000-3200 stall by Mad Dog Transmissions in Alpharetta GA, and I'm having a few tuning issues with it. Besides not feeling on point as the 4L60E was dialed in a Mo's Speedshop in Dallas, GA, the new 4L80E on full throttle when going from 1 to 2, the engine itself feels as it falls on its face "pausing" for 1-2 seconds, then goes wide open again. My tune is unlocked, and wonder if I send you guys my tune file over, if you guys can look at it, and maybe send it back to me w/ the proper Transmission tune? The Tahoe as it is on 4.11 gears, put down 435/445 to the tires on QT 93 pump gas. If you guys are able to provide this tune, how much would it cost? Thanks for the help.

It depends on what kit you buy. But between 15hr if you get the Better kit
Got dang it, 15hrs for a cam swap and if y’all do the clutch it’s gonna be a 2yr labor fees on that?! 😂😂😂
Did the car require a new torque converter for the cam?

Friendly is one thing, but this is absurd. I've seen builds with many more mods doing much less HP. Never seen a air filter adding more than 10 real world hp. Something is very strange here. I'm doing a stage 2 BRT cam, long tubes, filter, some valvetrain stability upgrades and a tune i do not expect to break 470.
We have seen much less out of similar builds. It a healthy motor is sometimes better than a built motor. We had one with similar mods make 395 the other day. Another one make 420. Also depends on your tuners. Some tuners are very conservative, I for one am not.
Most g8 gt with a stage 2 cam kit and milled heads with bolt ons on a 6.0 with ls3 heads make 420. If you can’t make 450 atleast from a 6.2 then find another tuner.

I’ll say that’s a friendly dyno. I have an ‘11 GS A6 with a BTR stage 1 cam, LG long tubes, x pipe and high flow cats with factory NPP and a Halltech cai and I’m only getting 435 at the wheels on 93 gas! You’re getting 90+ hp more with a Stage 2? I want your dyno. Yeah, I know the TSP cams are a little hotter than BTR but 90 more hp? Really?
We just did another grand sport but with a btr stage 2 cam and some ebay headers and cold air intake. It made 60hp less than this car.
my A6 2011 GS made 390WHP on a 118 degree day here in the desert on 89 octane. Bone stock down to the filter.
