After buying a ragged out Corvette C6 ZR1 with over 100,000 miles, I decided to build it to 1000hp! A new LS9 engine, Kong 2650 supercharger, and MUCH more, we did everything possible to make 4 digit horsepower!
Then I decided 1000hp wasn't enough... back to the drawing board for this c6 ZR1!

Don’t sell the C6 Zr1 it’s the best corvette ever made of all time it’s unique, cool, and fun to drive. In my opinion it should be a lifer and it’s my favorite car you have and the most fun content too

You’re speaking the language of a good man. Zr1 - The absolute end all be all of the corvette, I love the zr1, c6 are so good looking. I don’t think there’s any chance I will ever be able to afford a zr1, but I hope to have the ability to at least own a c6 z06. It would suffice.

Also love the ZR1 but if it’s just another car for you, sell it. You guys always do awesome projects and I’m sure it would go to something special.
Streetspeed 717 did the same thing with his 1000 hp LMR modified 2011 ZR 1 when he did a run, the belt broke and cut up his coolant hose too.
All these blower cars have the same issue, the belt.

Your biggest fan from O H ten & I’ve been in LOVE with your ZR-1 from the get go ! but after the “ over 1100 report card “ pushed it Over the TOP 4 me! If I was you I would keep it FOREVER ( look how hard it is to find & get a good one ) but other side of coin I understand about selling & diff builds, I wish I had these kinds of problems 😂😂

Sometimes you can gain some belt size by taking the idler off and putting it around the belt, then bolting it in with the tension
If you ever have the window problem usually if you close the door while holding the window switch up, it will start to work again. Happens all of the time with mine.
I would keep that great accomplishment with that ZR1! a very rare accomplishment! keep it! for sure!

I say keep the ZR1 at least long enough to enjoy the results of your work , sell it next spring when the corvette market is stronger. I really would like to see how fast it is.

I would love to see it taken to the track or strip for a few videos, then maybe sell it and start another cool build. But have some fun with it first!
We drag race our Zr1s and these kind of things happen. Do your research and you will enjoy some 8 second passes for sure. I helped Jeff test that intake and it came out great. Enjoy the car and race it!

Keep the zr1! It’s my favorite build to watch updates on! There is already very little zr1 content out there so if you stop making zr1 content then there really isn’t anything left.

Love this channel!!! I’ve been watching this build for a while. I think I missed the part where you got the hood window glued back in. I needed to fix mine and for some reason no one where I live knows that to use to get it to stick.
I’ve tried 3M windshield adhesive and it doesn’t hold up on carbon fiber. If you have any advice on that I would greatly appreciate it.
