The following is my statement about what transpired during the recent LBA elections regarding GCMs and eventually till the scrutiny stage of the presidentship.
1. I have NO opinion about 6th Schedule because I haven’t studied it. We MUST know exactly what we are getting into before asking for something! I remember since my childhood how my father (a Changthang Pa Ladakhi) fought for UT with many leaders but now we are saying it’s not sufficient/appropriate for us??? We MUST all know the pros and cons of a big issue before it gains unanimous support and politicians stay away from such ‘movements’. Once politicians get involved, it becomes a political activity and loses trust among many educated people. There are so many people who don’t even know the pros and cons of what they are asking for or demanding but following blindly, like we did when we fought for UT! I have much more to say about this but I like to keep my opinions about political activities to myself. And besides the people involved are some I don’t trust! I don’t like to follow blindly based on trust. I like to focus solely on the dharma and our Buddhist community. 2. There are many famous & ‘powerful’ people from all spectrums of our Ladakhi societies across religion and region demanding what they believe in. I never said anything against it since it’s our individual right to demand anything. But there are many other Rinpoches and lamas. Why always focus on me? Aren’t there other Rinpoches? I TRULY just want to serve our precious Buddhist society and that’s it. Just because LBA is a powerful platform which keeps getting misused for all other reasons except for the welfare of our Buddhist society and this year I had been asked to work in it some people are so vocal about attempting to drag me into something I HONESTLY haven’t studied about and have no proper knowledge of!! If your need for support for something from a Rinpoche is genuine, please ask other Rinpoches also! 3. This video was made to clarify about the recent unfortunate events leading up to the scrutiny phase of the LBA presidential election. If you want to comment please comment on what I said; not something I have no idea and knowledge about!! 4. I know some keyboard warriors are ready to always criticise me and try to drag me into something I HONESTLY have no proper knowledge about but I don’t blame you all. You either have an agenda against someone or some people, have sworn allegiance to some people, getting something out of it, or just plainly NOT sufficiently educated about it but trying to use my shoulders to shoot a gun at something or someone or some people. I honestly have no anger at you all for all your unrelated and harsh comments and I wanna say I love you all from my heart the same. 5. If anyone wishes to talk to me personally instead of using fake accounts to comment, you all know where I live. There are no shut gates and I live with amaley, my sisters, and a few dogs. Nothing to fear. You are always welcome. Love to you all 🙏
Chaktsal Rinpoche Khyen🙏. It is not us petty mortals who deserve an explanation from your Eminence. Sorry that we have made you go through all this. Like I mentioned earlier, some of us have hit a new low. Ricpoche Khyen clearity is hard to come to few as They are shrouded in the romance of some 'agenda', but donot have a good far-sighted vision of the same. It is just like how You mention about the analogy in Buddhism of receiving dharma, using a Pot; "How it illustrates the importance of being open and receptive to teachings. Just as a pot must be clean and empty to hold valuable contents, a mind must be clear and open to receive wisdom and guidance. If the pot is dirty or already full, it cannot accept what is offered. Similarly, if the mind is cluttered with preconceptions or closed to new ideas, it cannot receive the teachings of dharma effectively". May You glorious Light dispel our Ignorance 🙏
But I HONESTLY have no idea about 6th Schedule!! Some say it’s good. Some say it’s bad. I’m confused as many people are. And making a decision when you’re confused is not a wise choice. Secondly I am also HONESTLY not angry at haters/critics. I understand why they are trying to change the topic from the recent happenings during the LBA elections and I have nothing but compassion and love for them also. Compassion & love should ALWAYS be accompanied with the wisdom to understand why and how things are happening. When you have that clarity anger just doesn’t arise. Instead compassion and love does. Even the haters are all Ladakhis (I assume) and I love them all: Buddhists and Muslims both 🙏
Then why you haven't studied it Rinpoche khen? You have always been so vocal about everything in Ladakh so why are you confused at the first place? People only question you and not other Rinpoches because only you are active in everything that happens in Ladakh. You are well educated and knowledgeable about everything so why you didn't feel the importance of studying about something that's for the safety of Ladakhis? And if you don't like the people demanding for this safeguard, you will stay silent? Your personal likings are more important than the cause???

The only reason people are supporting Palga Rinboche is because they believes that they would get help when they are in real need from this association for which it is formed for. everyone has failed to reclaim kargil Gonpa , we are loosing the will to hold on our existing worship spaces , Rinpochay lae is on his way to save buddhist culture and Buddhism rights from external influences, and our people are chanting communal harmony only during elections for the political benifits ! everyone have a right to worship, right to conscience , and other side always trying to stop reclaiming our religious sites, what the hell jihadi elements wants to do ?

I’m sure you will get the right answer of your question because Thikse Khanpo Rinpoche was one of the leader of Apx body and he is one of the Ladakhi great Rinpoche. Although i always supported you with respect,just whole ladakh Buddhists is confused that, why you didn't speak or support the 6th schedule and ajang lakrook is saying if you come ,the protest cause will be lost, thats where we get hesitant or say confused on your presidenship, baaki we also don't want those old same faces in LBA rinpochey khen. We don’t like someone to use our LBA as a political instrument for destroying Ladakhi Buddhist and we don’t like to say that 6 schedule is not important for the people who really like to have it. With due respect lama khen, i think your own name, throne and respect is much higher than this seat but I don't understand why you need to be the president of LBA to do something for the Buddhist community? Isn't being a Rinpoche enough for that purpose. Actually renpochi great response on lba president but some said he not allow according he was tibetan, so that problems he own clear said i m tibetan not only potgyud linage of tibetan during last interview in aha moment which tibetan popular youtube, therefore we also just doubt renpochi ladakh pa or tibetan,actually doesn't matter we tibetan or ladakhi same as loves, compassion and culture etc, but present we going right rules of LBA so that before elect president we should be ladakh pa in LBA rules, so that who accept his renpochi nomination in LBA president?

We all know very well that you are highly educated and have all kinds of knowledge so why you aren't supporting 6th schedule? If there's anything wrong in it please let the people know that it's not necessary and if not you should have talked in favour of the safeguard...... On this occasion I just remembered the very profound quote form the great master the Buddha: "O monks, just as a goldsmith tests gold by rubbing, burning, and cutting before buying it, so too, you should examine my words before accepting them, and not just out of respect for me."
Dragging HE name in this Chaos is not the direct fault or HE. But rather it's HE followers he who have requested him to be the part of this system, which i strongly condemn them. HE was simply living his peaceful life engaging in his daily spritual life and practices. But it was some or many of his followers who brainwashed or dragged HE into this Chaos both intentionally and unintentionally.
