Well said Amelia but can I recommend you guys listen to @cassiethorpe take on the “quiet luxury” especially her opinion on the Kelly and Birkin so so refreshing ! She’s so right in saying they are screaming luxury , not quiet at all because of social media. Just because a bag isn’t covered in logos doesn’t mean they’re “quiet” they’re still instantly recognisable to most people now!

This is a bit like the point re IYKYK. If everyone knows then it’s loud, if not then is it quiet? But what then happens when more people know. Or as a luxury lover is something loud to me but quiet to someone else that doesn’t. It’s like the line constantly shifts. I find it interesting. As someone that likes most styles I don’t really care!!
But the truth is who is going to scrutinize your bag like this. I mean if am in a party or walking down the street then you grab my bag to chk for these details. I judge the real and the fake by looking at who is carrying the *preluxz* . If they dress the part then it must be real. What can I say.
100% recommend a tricolour puzzle bag! I bought my small version earlier this year and it's quickly become my favourite bag

Completely agree. I'm a "no logo" lover and a Loewe fan, and have several including 2 small OG Puzzles. They are the most useful, easy and well made bags I own. @ameliarosescloset, you might want to get one now, as with Loewe's decision to discontinue the Puzzle and replace it with the Edge (which, confusingly, they've apparently renamed the Puzzle), I suspect there'll be a rush to buy, especially any OG smalls in the resell market.

I have a DeMellier bag and it is stunning. The leather is gorgeous and it is so well made that it puts “luxury” brands to shame. Go for it!

I use my *preluxz* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

Loro Piano bale bag looks beautiful. Can’t recommend the mini peekaboo enough. Although small it holds so much. I have the logo inside. Such an easy to style bag.

I'm a No Logo, under the radar lover. I try to make an impression on my overall look, which includes a chic bag, rather than a shiny logo that blots out everything else. I have a good size collection of Loewe's, Bottega's and old Céline's, most of them bought used, as well as some Chanel and Dior with very small logos. I'm enjoying your videos even though we have opposite taste because I recognize a kindred spirit....I get such joy from the research, hunt and kill of finding the next perfect bag!

Not gonna lie. I OWN the authentic in that same exact color and I STILL got it wrong! And I even use the bag every single day! Only goes to show how damn good these *preluxz* are visually. Now guessing which is the fake by feeling them both in my hands is another story.
There’s so many more options for brands that do ‘understated’ really well. Not sure I’d put Gucci bamboo in that category 😂 but there’s Moynat, Delage, Delvaux, Objets Daso, Savette, Launer, Joseph Duclos, Ferragamo, Valextra, and Victoria Beckham. All excellent quality. And that’s just a few. All focused on the classic, simple styles.

Amelia, I am a long standing lover of the Loewe Puzzle bag. I must admit I have a nice collection of the different sizes and colors. The tri-color bags are so lovely and the orange or yellow single color Puzzle’s are stunning. I can really see you wearing and loving the bag. Super stylish and very durable.

I finally purchased the puzzle bag .. omg it’s the best bag I have had in years. I’m buying it in another colour it’s so fab. The Celine Triomphe I bought I haven’t used as I can’t fit enough in it.

I like the DeMellier bags. They’re more my price range and the smooth leather or small grain leather ones have a bit of the look of a Hermes Constance in that they’re quite simple shoulder bags. They don’t have the H shape on the front, but they’re still very beautiful.

My whole thing with quiet luxury is , if you don’t want logos and anything that is showing off it’s a luxury brand. Then why even buy luxury at all? Why not get a good quality cheaper bag that you like. To spend a lot on a bag that doesn’t look like it’s from a brand just seems silly.
Because showing off is about other people. Maybe someone just likes knowing they have it. Their own little secret. Or they are not attracted to logos at all.

I really want the small Jodie ( not to be mistaken with the teen Jodie). The small Jodie comfortably fits on my shoulder and I think you and I are a similar size. The teen size fits on my shoulder but just barely.

the fendi peekaboo is my pick. I have plans to buy two of the medium ones (a special edition beaded one) and a basic brown one. Possibly i want a small one too. It's probably my favorite bag from fendi.

Even before this "quiet luxury" trend, I've already been loving my 2 peekaboos and puzzle bags for that quiet luxury vibe. I think those 2 would really suit you too. I own a capucine as well and yes, that one is not as sutle as the peekaboo but if you cover the LV logo with the flap, I think it is! From Bottega, I have their small loop bag and it's my perfect travel bag. The intrecciato weave is really understated. No one knows that it's a luxury bag but definitely looks luxurious!

It took me so long to realize Hermes was quiet. I got my first Kelly at an auction sale years ago, and was terrified to wear it. I’d imagined it would draw so much attention, people would judge me, they’d think it was fake because I’m not a millionaire, etc. It sat in my closet for years. When I finally got the courage to wear it, I realized no one cares. Literally no one - aside from the very occasional fellow handbag enthusiast who clocks it - has any idea what brand it is or cares. The real world is not luxury CZcams or instagram! Any bag not covered in logos is quieter than you think. It’s silly it took me so long to figure that out.

I have a demellier bag (mini Venice)and though it looks nice the outside, the inside does not look and feel luxury/ quality. I have not seen the Montreal but My suggestion before buying, see the actual bag. Plus for this brand is the price and it “looks” nice

I was just looking for my Neverfull tote bag dupe and found a pre-owned Gavriel Mansur tote in the same shape, caramel leather, also comes with a pouch. No logo. tiny price. I’ll see if my big wide open tote bag is indispensable. BTW the Neverfull is available by waitlist only, so I avoided the wait.
My other entry purchase is of two minds. Its a neutral fawn or taupe color wallet on a chain by Fendi. The clasp is the F logo. the chain feels luxurious but tucks away. It looks very plain and would draw no attention from most directions, so it’s not screaming designer, but it has the logo clasp if people know Fendi. My nearby cousins are the only people who hassle me about not going to discount stores. They might not know the Fendi logo. One day I have to speak up and give them the talk that this is what I have. They have children and family vacations. We spend money on different things. I wear the nice things when i see them because that’s my special occasion.

To summarise: you desperately want a bright orange bag 😄 you definitely need to get the puzzle bag, I have the larger size in a neutral beige colour and I love it so much, it is fabulous and fits everything including the kitchen sink, you would not regret it. Of course, the orange one for you 😄

@@ameliarosescloset I have watched some reviews that say that even perfume marks will show on it….I wear perfume regularly, I dont see myself babying the bag and and so I will wait for Celine to come out with caviar leather version……I love this bag but I just can’t🙇🏻♀️
