I want to thank you for the great content you regularly put out. I tried multiple bags from the mainstream luxury brands but really wasn’t loving anything. I also never cared for the traditionally hyped “Holy Trinity” bags. But because of you, I learned about the Valextra Brera and the Loro Piana Sesia bags. I knew the moment I saw them that they were perfect for me, and I love using them everyday! Please do not stop educating us and filling a unique and needed space here on CZcams!

I've owned a Valextra Iside bag for about two weeks now. I love the clean lines because I live in a tropical part of Florida and wear summer clothes year round. Bags with a heavier look wouldn't go with the light weight fabrics in my wardrobe. Since I have to order everything on-line, I relied on your videos and those of other influencers to make my decision. I'd never seen the bag in person. (I did mark up a cardboard box with the dimensions of different sizes to decide on size.) So, thank you for your detailed reviews.
I have yet to experience Joseph Duclos in person, but the value proposition at that price seems like an absolute STEAL! Since I've discovered your channel Moreau and Joseph Duclos are at the top of my want list, brands that I would not have known about if it were not for your expertise. Excellent work as always.

Another helpful and engaging video, thank you! The JD Diane looks so rich... love it. Interesting to hear that the Delvaux Brillant has that issue with stitching. I've never heard that before and while it is still one of my holy grail bags, at that price, you're correct, shouldn't be a problem.
I thought I would see Colombo as one of the top 5! Joseph Duclos, my only wish is that the clasp is changed to something else because It reminds me a lot of the religious "cross" in my eyes. (I know why they had that design)Thats the only one thing that put me off that particular bag. Otherwise its lovely. 😃
I did for a second consider them but they have just 1 style (Dione soft) in leather the rest are all exotic skin. Exotic skins are priced out of the reach of the vast majority of consumers €15,000+ on average. All the brands I’ve suggested are within reach of a lot more consumers. The clasp is a tricky one, and I understand, especially if you are not a practising Christian or religious at all, which I am. Thank you for watching my content.
I agree with you Liz, with the exception that as a Christian, the fact that the clasp is inspired by a "goddess" is my hangup......it bothers me and I just can't get past that. Hopefully JD will come out with other designs using the same heritage leather and beautifully made but more subtle hardware in the future.......i am anxiously waiting because JD bags are the most beautiful I have seen yet

Though I disagree with you on one point: I find Delvaux superior to Moynat when it comes to quality (we own a brillant and a flori). I’m also wondering what you make of Dior: prices for their iconic pieces have skyrocketed, but unlike Chanel, quality doesn’t seem to be an issue so far - still worth it?

Hello Aspinal is an entry level of luxury specifically affordable. Good brand for its level. Leathers, craftsmanship don’t compare at all to the top end brands in this video.

Many years ago, a friend told me that her dad, who is also a professional (a lawyer to be exact), would use luxury items in front of his clients as it is a sign of success. Now, as a professional, I wonder if the same goes with my patients. What do you think? I'd love to be educated as well between the different types of leather (pebbled leather, crossgrain, etc). Hi Anesu! Thank you for all your informative videos! I was looking for small leather goods earlier this year and I found your channel. I enjoyed your contents a lot and I ended up of buying several pieces of slg from Valextra and Delvaux. In general, I agree with you in your notes about the two brands. However, after half a year of wear and tear, I have to say the quality of Delvaux is much higher than Valextra, in terms of their slgs. They are priced more or less the same level, but I am having problems with the edge coating of Valextra's card case and key case. Now you might think it is the way of me using it, however, I own the key case and presented the card case to my partner as a gift. Almost at the same time, we found the same edge coating problem. I took my key case to the boutique and they have been very helpful and promise to repair it for me. I never find problem with Delvaux goods and this made me end up buying a tempete instead of an iside even though this means I saved longer for the bag. I am not making complaints here, but I wish to let you know about my experience. I guess with iside the quality might be better than their slgs. However, considering the quality you get with a similar amount of money (I am talking about slgs), I will definitely go for Delvaux from now on.

I find it interesting that the ‘top’ bag from each brand is a top handle, 9 times out of 10. Why is that? Is it the most classy? Or the most involved to produce?
I know right?! Drives me bonkers but I think it’s purely a case of what the market/consumers want! If there wasn’t the demand they wouldn’t make the bags.
Also if you have time in hands would you mind deep dive on english brands such as starthberry, aspinal of london, and demilier. And or some french indie brand such as polene, fleuron and atelier auguste. Or some asian indie brand such us osoi (south korea), songmon (china) and cafune (hongkong) 😊

I’m not too sure i understand your question. Blue is not a colour I would personally consider for a handbag and I don’t necessarily look for specific colours, definitely not black though, just what stands out.
