I would not have sold the LV bags. I would have "retired" them as my mother would say. She passed down her Speedy 30 and Alma bag to me. She bought the Speedy in the 80s and the Alma in the 90s. Their bags are classic.
I really wish I could have kept them, I just couldn’t afford to keep them in my closet but I really love the idea of passing on handbags to my future kids!
@@raisamartin You did the right thing…Money sitting in a closet is money that could be used elsewhere-whether or not you can afford it. I never regret letting go of a bag when I’m not getting joy out of using it. I’ve never been a fan of LV canvas bags even though most people consider LV canvas classics…same for the Chanel classic flaps…not for my lifestyle. I love and use my reissues though. It’s always best to keep and use what fits your personality and lifestyle--otherwise it’s just stuff collecting dust. I love my Loewe puzzles. The Celine cabas..so chic also. You have great taste in bags!

My aunt passed down her beautiful 80’s LV bags to me. I used them for years!!! Now I bring them out here and there!
