Well, it had to happen eventually, didn't it?
I made this video so I would have something to direct people to in future videos which explore this concept in more nuanced and interesting ways. If you're one of those people: welcome! You're in good hands.
Content warning: This video contains descriptions of harmful practices and structural violence. There are also several images of colonised peoples which some viewers may find distressing (I have attempted to minimise their impact with censorship bars).

There is a LOAD of literature out there if you're interested in getting a deeper understanding of these concepts)

I know this has been a long gestating project for you, not just the sourcing, structuruing and pacing but of course, the 2 years that you needed to master that Churchill impersonation, I mean that was just immaculate, perfect, Gary Oldman should frankly being giving you the Oscar for that. Quite legitimately this is a well made primer on the matter, especially in regard to recognising the fundamental intertwining of the conditions of colonised nations and the actions of the colonising powers, the way a lot of media deliberately seperates them plays so much into the continued lack of understanding of what you're talking about right now. Hope people do watch this and had they not understood the dealio, they do now, plus they got some nice essential readings too. Glad to see you're getting back into the gist of videomaking. - Uilliam
