I just wanna say that I LOVE Emi and Chad's interactions, like they're that sweet (but not overly teeth-rotting sweet) and chill couple that would be the ones labeled as the "cool parents" if they ever have kids.

I have lived in both HK and Canada. I miss the convenience in HK where there's amazing transit, shops & restaurants every corner. I do enjoy the space and greenery we have in Canada. The Beverly Hills townhouse looks much more like our homes in Canada with multi level, larger rooms & a garage. I would also agree the Sea to Sky unit is superb for HK living with the amazing ocean view from all rooms. That is a gem to find in HK and it's much closer for Chad's work on HK Island. Thanks for showing your units...brings back many fond memories! Good luck and have fun apartment hunting Emi & Chad!! ❤️
Love how you guys went from no kids to considering bigger appartment for kids 🤣 no judgement whatsoever, just interesting to see the change that will probably happen to me too someday in the future
My personal view sea to sky suit you two the most!! I have recently moved from hk island to the lohas and found life is so much convenient here!! MTR and shopping mail just downstairs and need not worry of the rains and storms outside when going home.

It’s so cool to see the difference in apartments between countries. The majority of our apartments are more open concept or have a little bit bigger rooms.
The second option was by far the most attractive. I feel like waking up there and seeing those views everyday would make a person really happy.
I lived in HK for 12 years and had a flat in the ICC/Elements Mall area. Trust me now that I have lived in the outskirts of London since 2020, HKD 22mil will get you soooo much more :) (as well as fresh air!)

Agreed! The prices are non comparable. Guess HK has it’s convenience and safety to offer.
Real Estate is all about location, location, and location.
There is a reason the outskirts of London are so cheap.. no one wants to live there.
No point in comparing real estate in two vastly different locations.
Lohas park is really perfect for family and pets. There’s a young and hip community in TKO south which is only a short walk with plenty of dining options . Not to mention the mall at LP.
The commute from LP to HK island is not as bad as you think! Especially during early hours. Once the bridge opens traffic jams will no longer be a problem. MTR is also convenient to get to HK island.
All the apartments have different style, I agreed with Emi, I like the #2 house, beautiful view to different section. Can’t to see more apartment hunting and see which one you pick out.

Wow it's interesting seeing the architecture of houses in different countries. The kitchens seemed so small to me but i guess they are big for hk
But i definitely liked the sky to sea apt!
I noticed that too (about the kitchens). Curious if it has to do with the fact that eating out is often cheaper than buying groceries in most East-Asian countries. Not sure if that applies for Hong Kong as well though.
the 2nd one in TKO is great. I love the seaview and the white wall so much😍Simple and spacious.
康城出港島地鐵好方便. 同區有好多3、4間房租盤俾你揀. 將軍澳南都可以考慮. 但大部份沿海屋苑出入將軍澳港鐵站需要行露天.

如果二千幾預算萬應該考慮下買三層村屋連天台，一二層住三樓和天台可以拍片工作，工作時不會嘈住下層鄰居，好多村屋又有車位同前園可以放狗
將軍澳康城真係好濕，仲要喺海邊一定係濕到爆，我試過搬走嘅時候拉開個櫃後面原來係發晒霉😖個人會成日都會好攰，所以我都搬走咗了。始終係垃圾堆上面住好似身體冇咁好….呢個係我自己嘅經驗….

thank you so much for canto audio with english subs! i'm an ABC trying to improve my canto and these are so helpful.
The room for the helper in the second property is disgusting. It couldn’t get more basic, just room for a bed and a toilet. People should realise that staff in the home facilitate the employers ability to work and create their luxury lifestyle and therefore treat the helper with respect. I would hope Emi and Chad would not treat a person in this way and therefore not buy a property from a developer who designs what is literally a box for a human to live in.
Can I say... I've seen worse from those renovation videos where the helper doesn't even have a room to sleep in?
Perhaps the developer should've done away w the toilet and made the room bigger.
