Glad you mentioned the underdogs .. I cheered Argentina because I know the history of each player and they certainly deserved praise ..I love that underdogs are winning
The underdog teams are playing as a United Team,
A house divided will not stand,
United States is playing as an divided team and arrogant.
Hard work, beats talent, when the talent does not do the hard work.
I doubt it's something as simplistic as "heart" and "wanting it more". Maybe underdog teams have more time for players to play together to develop team cohesion, whereas larger county teams have great players that train more with their clubs, and have less opportunity to play together.
No one said it was as "simple" as that! Just an observation as to one of the reasons why these teams have advanced and you can't deny that! :)
