  • Certificate of Readiness to enter training is a form that is signed by a consultant deeming you competent to apply for training in the UK for IMGs.
Like any form, it has some rules and today we are discussing those.

Dr.. Your videos are great. I have doubt..Can we get a CREST form signed from India by now if I'm planning to do the MSRA exam only by next year September..
How long is this crest form valid?

Thank you !! Just a quick question…I will finish 2 years postgraduate internship in Japan by March 2027. Am i eligible to apply for MSRA exam in November 2026 window? I will have finished my 2year internship by the time the post starts which is probably in August 2027, but will i be eligible to apply as i wont have finished internship by the time of application? Thank you so much! 😊

You need to be GMC registered for MSRA. There is no point in taking the MSRA without GMC registration.

    Hello, hope you are well.
I have few doubts regarding the end date of my current post as I have to enter this in the training application as well as CREST form.
It mentioned in the application, to write the end date as the day before the training commences, but when I try to look for the training commencement date, it is not confirmed yet.
    1) What would be wise to put in the application as the end date of my current post?
    2) Should I do the same in my CREST form if I'm getting it signed in my current post? (or shall I just put UP TO DATE?)
    3) Does the duration after the application closing time count towards the mandatory one year experience after FY1 to apply for training post? (Eligibility criteria)
I would be grateful if you could kindly answer my doubts.
    Thank you so much.

      1) put upto date
      2)yes same
3)yes until august if you have had 1 year NHS experience that is enough, not at the time of applying it is for when you will start the post. Best of luck
