    Thanks again mr. Robin great content.
    What gypsy jazz guitar are you playing in this video? I loved that sweet sound. Where can I find this model to buy?
    Thank you

    Hi Mr. Nolan!
    First I want to thank you for your great job of teaching the most beautiful guitar music on earth :)
    I am playing the guitar for 4 years now and since my very start I love to play the Django Reinhardt tunes.
    Until now I only played the solos of Django himself, my own improvisations are not very good.. I mean I am always playing some basic arpeggios and the harmonic minor scale and stuff like this... But I don't really know how to continue.. Should I start learning all arpeggios or should I learn some licks or should I first learnd jazz music theory...
    You see..I really want to improve my skills but I'm kinda stuck and don't know how to move on.
    Thanks for your answer!

      Hi Robin, would that songbook work out for other instruments as well ? Since i play the accordion i am looking for a more general approach to gypsy jazz which is not focussed on the guitar.
      Thanks a lot for any hint. Ben

      +Ben Profane hi Ben - the book it's self has the melodies and chords written out in TAB for the guitar so not really useful for accordion. The play-along cd's would be really handy though to learn the tunes and practice soloing over the chords - you can email me at robin@robinnolan.com for more info - cheers, Robin

    What strings do you use and how often are you having to change them?

    • @GypsyJazzSecrets
      @GypsyJazzSecrets  Před 8 lety

      +WaRLoKWYATT I use Argentine strings made by Savarez - I have to change them quite a bit as my fingers get greasy! - cheers Robin
