I think polling rate is a niche addition, its cool if its there, but 1000hz is way more then enough. On top of that it maintains battery life, i am a shill for the latest tech in mice though so i love 8k and 4k polling, but the battery drain is the worse part and still too early until future firmware optimizes it further.
I wanted this ever since I got the first model I. Ergo shape feels really good to me but I always found those mice too heavy for me, can't wait to get one :)
is it good for ppl w/ carpel tunnel?
@@TheTinyOrc Well I don't have it so I wouldn't know, there is a slight angle compared to like viper/gpro but I don't think it can be recommended if you have issues

I've been using the model I wired version for a few months now, and I cant wait to get the wireless version. I don't downshift my dpi so I just changed the sniper button to the letter P. It especially helps in games like doom eternal

Hell ya. It's got Roccat shift[+] functionality. What I've been looking for, for a while. Fell in love with that functionality, now this has it!
Is it any different than logitech's tech?
I just got the mouse alongside the g703 and the xtrfy m42. I tested a bunch of mice before and I feel like the Model I 2 Wireless is the best overall so far for me. What I really dislike though is that especially the M1+M2 are really loud. I'd also love an easier going scroll wheel but it's still fine.
Question if you turn the RGB do you see the individual LEDs of the mouse? I remember this being a recurring problem on the first models.
Just bought the white version. Hated the 502 because the forward and back buttons next to left click. How I end up holding my mouse I'd always end up accidentally clicking that along with left click. Swapped to a g604 because I need at least 3 side buttons.
What I really want is a refresh of the corsair m95. That was one of the most comfortable mice I've used but not the buttons feel far too squishy.
Edit: I plan on throwing one of my many magnetic chargers on it and 3d printing a dock for it. So at the end of the night I can just slide it up to the dock and let it charge. Hopefully it lasts longer than the corsair darkcore. That thing even without the rgb would die in a few hours of use. I had to keep it charging 24/7.
I’m watching this video 3 days after Christmas 2023. Just got my model i2 wireless and went to watch a video specially cause I was having the same issue frank p was having. It keeps saying it’s dead and wasn’t able to trial run it without it being plugged in. I’m upset glorious still isn’t fixed the problem but I’m glad my boy frank p had a solution for me in the short term

When the Model O 2 released I was worried the whole 2 line was going to be a bit underwhelming and lacking. But seeing this mouse it really shows what Glorious is good at.
Take a look at Linus' testing of the O2, I cancelled my preorder on the I2 from the insanely long delay and the O2 came out with the performance of a $10 mouse, which made me afraid the I2 would be the same

@@dio4296 I see your point but Linus tested that cooler on a 4090 and that company said it should work, but they didn't know how well aka opening themselves up for someone to test it on a 4090, although Linus should have tested it on other graphics cards as well
I have the original model I and its amazing, the only problem I've had is when I spilled soy sauce into the mouse and it stopped working. But the customer support was able to send me a replacement in under a week from beginning to end.
i bought mine very early, so it was probably a bad model, but mine only lasted about a year. it eventually started bugging out and then i got atore credit to get a model o wireless
I like the added buttons on the side, but I've got a few questions. Can you control the rgb? It says it has 210 hours of battery life, and you used it for 2 or 3 weeks. Let's say 3 weeks. You would of had to use it 10 hours a day every day. Which leaves me wondering how many hours you actually get from it.
I was only half way mouse shopping not really planning to buy yet but knowing my wired one is starting to get a little old and boring. Couldnt resist though, this mouse seems too perfect

I've been dying to get my hands on this mouse. I have both the G502X Plus and the Basilisk V3 Pro but neither "feel" quite right lol. What i need is a hybrid of the I and Basilisk mixed into the 1. Razer's scroll wheel is Far superior, it's clicks are quieter than the logitech and it Feels nicer in the hand texture wise.
I agree. The Model I paired with Razer's Basilisk V3 Hyperscroll wheel and included grip tape is what I would pay top dollar for.
How are you liking it if you got it? I was between the g502X and the Basilisk V3 but neither looked or felt like it was for me, and I just found out about this one today.
Would you say that the model 0 wireless is better in terms of gaming to this mouse? I'm looking for a mouse to get and I'm stuck lol

little thing you said in the video that the model i 2 was the lightest ergonomic mouse was but the roccat kone pro air (the mouse i use) is also 75 grams but i think that the model i is pretty good
The one reason my dad won't switch from is g502 is the infinite scroll, I don't see many gaming mice have that feature would be cool to get it in another model I (model I pro or something like that)

Logitech holds the invention patent for the Infinite Scroll Wheel since 2009. The patent is set to expire from 2029 or 2033 (if they extend it). That's why no other brand has that feature. Razer manage to make their own version with the magnetic implementation.

Personally I prefer two buttons with the sniper button. I prefer the button placement of the sniper button on this mouse over the basilisk

I got this mouse cause I had the original wireless model o. I like ergonomic mice more but said no to the original model I cause I’d rather have wireless then ergonomic. Although mine has issues I’m so happy I have an ergonomic lightweight wireless gaming mouse. 3 things I’ve always wanted in a mouse
I think the SS Aerox 5 Wireless is a better mouse at this weight class.
Both mice are missing the additional side buttons on the LMB, like the Roccat Kone XP Air and G502X Lightspeed. Those buttons can be bound to additional keybinds. Pity
that mouse is damn near see through and still 74g, steelseries has gotta lighten up their electronics lol
Since a dog got me not to long ago, I have had trouble finding a mouse that works for me. I might need to try this shape with its lighter weight than the others.
Despite the shape the Steelseries - Aerox 5 is also a good option if you are looking for 4 button's on the side light gaming mouse. It's also often on sale very cheap.

Mine has a QR issue sadly. After clicking the Left finger button it eventually starts to stick, then I have to lift it back up for it to work. Then after like 10 clicks, it sticks again....

wish it had optical switches, but hey, you can't get everything. sick mouse either way, gonna add it to my collection soon. i've been using the G502x lightspeed and razer basilisk ultimate (v2 pro), but they are a bit on the heavy side. this is gonna be perfect. Oh BTW amazing review as always.
Post-Purchase Edit: Beware ! the flat thumb button cap on this mouse does not DISABLE the button on hardware level. It's just make the button flat but you can still press it. If you hate thumb buttons then you should remove the thumb button cap completely and use it without any caps (with the hole). Because even though the button is flat, you'll still be pressing it all the time.

On my Model I the cap make me unable to press it at all. But eitherway just disable it through Glorious Core.
@@dylanlerian5960 I know that it can be disabled, but a button placed there completely messes up my muscle memory, since it is kinda a strong point of my grip.... I tried using it with any cap on but then I tend to ease my grip in order to not damage the button by pressing it too strong, i know its weird. I just like it flat on that point.
It's very interesting that you cannot press it at all with the flat cap on... Guess these caps are not all the same. IS your mouse black by any chance? Mine is white.
@@buraktabakoglu You probably got a faulty model sadly. Mine is black but I don’t think it’s the reason my button can’t be pressed with the flat cap. I guess the cap you got is a bit more lengthy that it should be so you can potentially fix it yourself.
@@dylanlerian5960 yeah you are probably right. The thin cylindrical part that presses the switch is waaaaay to long on mine. Maybe sanding it down could do the trick, thanks for the tip.
The 2 stands for the holes and button shape, most likely.
I’m having a problem getting the mouse to pair to the software I go to do it and start the whole process and the mouse starts to blink and I still have it with the receiver and it continues to fail the pair. Does anyone know what to do to fix this

Seems like all those model 2 wireless reviews made Glorious actually make a decent mouse once again.

I use my Razer Naga 2012 for work and its 12 side buttons are Godsent for me. I wish they made the side buttons 6 atleast. I guess I'll hold my naga for a little longer. lol

@@CodeVenomSnakes Because its a bit heavy. Aerox 9 might be the viable choice interms of weight but the shape is not quite right for my liking.

Imo the viper ultimate (yes, not the v2 pro or whatever the fuck it's called) is the best. It may not be the lightest, but it's not heavy at all, nor does it sacrifice on ambidexterity or the charging stand the new ones lack. The rgb isn't necessary, but i like it for easily telling me if the mouse is on (considering it's wireless). It's also the best form factor i've tried.
When my battery dies (not soon btw) i'll replace it. I see no real reason to upgrade. The viper mini signature edition looks awesome, but it's too small for me.
@@toxicturkeyy unless you're 7' tall your hands aren't big enough to call that mouse "too small". I've got decently sized hands and can comfortably use the G-WOLVES HSK Pro 4k Wireless, which is less than 1/3 the size of the Viper Mini SE. If you don't have it, I know you haven't tried it. And all mice have a period of adjustment

@@fivestarboy1 Personally I just really like the metal build and the lightweightedness without having to be excessively small like the gwolves mice. They're comfortable to grip onto, but can feel "slippery" if you know what I mean. I also like knowing that I don't have to think about the performance of the mouse. My only complaints is the poor battery life (i don't even run it at 8k, i keep it at like 1k) and not having dock support. The dock for the viper/naga ultimate was just such a killer feature.

One of these days a company will actually make a good successor to the Logitech G600... wireless, with extra left click buttons, with tilt wheel, with third main button, and with at least 9 side buttons. 4 on this one is just not enough. Like... a wireless EVGA X15 that doesn't fail every few months and has a sane side button layout.
I want a lighter mouse, but I just use the infinite scroll wheel too much in casual computer usage. Maybe I'll buy two mice or something lol

Not the same because they are going for lighter weight and higher poll rate. Also different shape that more safe in more people hands.

Wireless charging is so weird for me even on phones .. u run a cable to the wireless charge anyways might as well put it in your device and make it charge faster

Internal wireless charging receivers weigh about 15g to 20g, so the mouse would pretty much be no different to g502/basilisk if it had that
Compare this to the Steelseries Aerox 5 wireless.
Glorious proved they can make a wireless mouse without holes through glorious forge. And it's lighter! I don't understand this need to put holes and rgb in gaming mice. The model D pro is just as good and way easier to clean because it's just a solid shape.

Polling rate more than a 1000 isn't always a good thing. Even pro gamers utilise mostly around 500 - 1000hz. More doesn't always mean better. I find anything more than a 1000hz too fidgety for my liking. Higher polling rates are more of a marketing gimmick. Hence to me, 1000hz polling rate at max isn't a bummer by any means. I would agree with you on the fact that this mouse doesn't have the wireless charging dock option which is minor downside as this mouse is really awesome and well-priced.
I just cant imagine buying a glorious anymore, when there are so many better options out now for the same price, if not cheaper.

@@goatguythepowerful If you specifically want this shape, probably nothing else. But for any other shape Pulsar, Lamzu, Vaxee, Endgame Gear, hell even razer has their viper/DA series discounted plenty of times. And thats just if are trying to keep to the around $100 range.

Is there no plans for a minus version. This is the issue with every single market. Every brand makes a mouse with more buttons but they dont also make a smaller version for smaller hands. Smaller hands matters too.

How? Just because it has holes, 4 side buttons, and is wireless? Lol the shape is completely different. Body shape is what defines and differentiates mice for me. This mouse is more ergonomic shaped, and the Aerox is more symmetrical.
Sure, the shape of the Basilisk and G502x are closer, but It's still a larger, right-handed ergonomic shape, with the recessed thumb area and flare on the right side and feels like it in the hand. It is also closer in price, weight, amount and location of buttons and has similar tech/features. The only main difference I'm noticing is the Aerox not having much of a thumb rest. I never said the shape was a closer comparison, I'm referring to everything else above and it's still a light-weight ergo with extra buttons whereas the G502X and Basilisk V3 are not really intended to be truly lightweight. @@kasper_429

This thing looks sick! I love how the "hump" of the mouse is more toward the back instead of the middle like on the Logitech and Razer mice you compared it to. Just my personal preference on shape because of how my grip is. Looks like a great value for 100 bucks. This might just be my first Glorious product purchase!
if only we could get a sub 80g g502, logitech would have my money. won't even think twice of getting a powerplay mousepad.

IMO, if glorious implemented some type of hyper scroll/free scroll, this thing would be a killer and I’d pick it up. Unfortunately it doesn’t offer anything substantial other than weight, and if that’s what you’re concerned with, there are so many other great lightweight options on the market.
The selling point for me is the combination of both being lightweight and having a lot of programmable buttons. If weight was my only concern i would've gone with the Logitech Superlight ages ago, sadly it doesn't have as many buttons to work with and i really need them.
I went for the Basilisk V3 Pro months ago because i needed another mouse to replace my Model O wireless, and even though it has a ton of features i dislike it because of the weight.
