I cried the first time I saw the page with Casca, Guts and the Moonlight boy forming a family for one instant.
the scene was so beautiful and when I thought of what Guts went though, I felt so happy for him. I hope that Guts will be able to live happily with Casca in the end but I know that Guts will suffer even more before this happens.

@@ringsaphire That's still not revealed yet. But Griffith's hair turns darker in full moon days, and he probably disappears or goes somewhere else(as it is shown in manga panel). And the moonlight boy, too, appears only in the days of the full moon, who has dark hair. Griffith/Femto used Gut's and Casca's child's body as vessel, so they are connected.

I got into Beserk while pregnant, which BTW is a terrible idea. It made me really connect and sympathize with Casca's character and I'm very invested in her recovery and what will happen with the Moonlight child.
While as Elaine, she did protect the demon child and connect with Griffith and the child out of what looks like pure instinct. Now that she has her mind back I fear if the trauma might complicate things, much like her negative association when she looks at Guts. Considering the connection between the Moonlight child and Griffith, that's a very unfortunate possibility.
My theory if that's the case is that with her broken doll and thorny heart in the dreamscape, overcoming some complicated feelings about her child would make or break Casca for good.
Animu Auntie I hope that won't happen. Miura the creator of berserk said that berserk won't end in a pessemestic way.

I think Miura establish all the entities and events which is enough to end berserl gracefully. Like We know who is moonlight boy, who is skull knight and what are their intentions. All we need is Miura's assistance take control the manga and come up with a proper story using these key characters which are moonlight boy, Griffith, skull knight, Guts and Casca.

It's poetic how the moonlight boy is probably going to be Femto's major weakness. Just like when Femto was Griffith, he made one mistake with the princess over his wounded ego(from Guts leaving his side) , and lost everything , he again made a similar mistake by raping Casca during the eclipse(this time due to his hurt ego from when he was handicapped and realised Casca had chosen Guts) , which will eventually become his downfall. This is the Hindu idea of Karma ,or as Miura puts it, Causality.
good analysis, however I doubt Griffith cares about casca choosing guts, there was never an implication for harnessing feelings. One simple explanation is that by raping casca he would hurt guts but I doubt even then that’s the case, miura would most likely have a larger rational reason for the rape of casca who knows.

So as the story goes, guts will be placed in a situation where he will choose to kill Griffith or not. Killing Griffith will also result the death of the moonlight boy. Which means casca will not let guts kill griffith. Poor guts.
If that’s the case then Casca should die with them, honestly Guts be doing her a miracle by putting her out of her brain dead misery, if she wants to hold onto to the thing that has to die in order to get to the Godhand then she gotta go to. People who say Griffith needed Casca to be resurrected have no idea what their talking about. It was the Egg Apostles role to bring Griffith to the physical world. The Moonlight boy is a unforseen factor, who obviously will play a huge role in the story.

I get what your saying, but read the lore. It says Griffith rounded up all those people at the Inquisition Headquarters to be sacrificed as vessels to be resurrected. The Band of the Hawk being sacrificed during the Eclipse gave birth to Dark Winged Femto, all the people who were sacrificed at Inquisition Headquarters allowed The Hawk of Light to be reborn.

If his plan required only the Egg of the Perfect World and the sacrifice of the whole village he would start freaking out not understanding where those feelings were coming from. Instead, he immediatly points to the child, so we can assume that his plan required at least a child. Then, if it required a random child why would Griffith think that this random child had feelings towards Guts? It means that Griffith knew exactly that he was going to use Caska and Gut's child as a vessel, probably because he is a sadistic little shit. What he didn't anticipate is that the child's ego would survive the reincarnation ceremony, so now he is stuck in an awkward situation.
I disagree, just because Griffith made a connection between his unfrozen heart and the Moonlight boy does not mean he needs a "random child" for his plan, theres no proof to back that claim. So no we cannot assume Griffith needs a child for his plan. Second, Griffith doesnt think the child has feelings for Guts, he knows it because the boy is Guts son. Griffith probably didnt realize Casca was pregnant when he was raping her, Griffith probably learned of the Moonlight boys existence when he was watching Guts and Casca from the Astral World. More specifically when Casca gave birth on that small hill.

I think it's pretty unrealistic to think that we'll "NEVER" see it. Plenty of people could assume his intentions for the ending regardless of if he kept to himself about it or not.

Hell nah son. There’s no redemption for femto or guts for that matter. Way I see it skull night showing up in the latest chapter is the beginning of guts decision of how much he’s willing to fall to stop Griffith.. I have a feeling after casca breaking down upon seeing him, he’s ready to go full ham and do what needs to be done to kill the god hand. Atleast I hope. Femto is too good of a scum villain to be a shonen cliche and try to redeem himself, and guts is too real of a character to discard his resolve to stop the god hand this late in.

Part of me wants Miura’s assistants to finish the series the way Miura told them to finish it. On the other hand, I’m afraid anyone who takes up this series will fuck it up, and therefore it should remain unfinished.
There should at least be some light novels to finish the story.
See it this way: if it's left unfinished, there will be nothing from now on. If Miura's assistants finish it, it can turn out being good or bad. If it turns out to be bad, you can just ignore the ending.

But even so i would prefer the risk of an bad continuation, than leaving the manga at this point. It just hurts more knowing it ends at this point, with never knowing how the Story will be resolved.
@@TheMago95 I feel like your example is a bit unfair. As of now Berserk will probably remain unfinished even with whatever knowledge Miura's assistants had and is still considered a masterpiece. I feel personally it would be the right thing to faithfully get out what story they have left and if it misses the mark we will all know why. But at least it would allow us to have some more closure on the story (although I kind of think the last chapter provides a bittersweet open ending.). Whereas the Game of Thrones situation would if Miura butchered his last few chapters and made no plot sense and threw away plot points.
@@TheMago95 season 5 is when the show became trash honestly, and a lot of characters are written into corners in the books too. Berserk imo has always been better than A song of ice and fire. “Thrones” makes me hate protagonists while Berserk makes me feel many mixed emotions for villains.

I KNEW the demon child and moonlight boy had to be the same! but I didn't realize it was the same/Griffith's body transforming, and of course further still didn't realize the consequences that might have with Elfhelm's warped time!!!
