Griffith may be one who has transcended humanity , a demon, perhaps, but he still cannot stop guts, who is just a mortal , a mortal with mind of steel , the embodiment of perseverance of men. If guts , at a weakened state, can defy femtoas god like powers for a short while, imagine what the berserker armor would do to femto
There's a lot to learn from this story. But I think one of the things I really caught was that Guts and Griffith are not only obsessed with each other but they're both opposite sides of the ends that's why there'a always an attraction between them. The first thing you see of Guts is that he is not a person to be controlled (when the guy asked him to be part of the mercenary) and so he rejected it by saying "you can't eat food". A very simple and right to the point guy. But after meeting Griffith although rejected him at first. Then did anything for Griffith. Going to the length of deserting Griffith for the cause of wanting Griffith to be his friend; (being controlled of Griffith's thought's on him). Now for Griffith he always saw people as means to an end including Casca. But Guts was different. He forgot his dreams and succumbed to his feelings and rage from Guts leaving him and also protecting Guts every chance he gets in the battlefield. Guts even asked him why he protects him and he answered with not having a reason (instinctual love and humanely affection that Griffith lacked), which is pretty odd of him because he always has a reason or a plan for doing something. They both changed eachother one for better and the other for worse. For me it really represents an obssesive toxic relationship one can have with the other. It's like you finally find the missing piece or somethint you didn't know you needed only for it to be lost. And then that love turns into pure hatred. If it's up to them they'll keep on chasing eachother for the end of time.
The fact that Casca's r@pe scene is the most watched is sad and disgusting, the adaptation greatly influenced this scene, that's why many people think she enjoyed it, how can you enjoy a r@pe? god, she cried in the manga.

They still kept most of what happened the same, it wasnt really necessary to show Casca's naked body getting raped, along with the other things. They did a good job with not sticking to one panel of guts slashing his arm off or anything of the sort. Personally, I liked this tone better. I can actually get through this and it's clear what the scene is implying, it's not needed to show me I'm detail what's going on. In the anime and Manga, I felt sick having to watch them depict every second of the brutality. Not only that, I watched the anime as a kid and had nightmares. This is much better if you have a child running quickly through the room as you play the game as you don't have to worry about them seeing something disgusting since the scene plays out quickly, and doesn't show much detail. A simple glimpse of this won't scar you mind for months. The anime, and most certainly through Manga, will. I get it, it's berserk and that's how they play shit out, but this is a video game adaptation. And they clearly don't need the detail as the scene still implies what's happening without much confusion.
Have you actually watched the movies? This cutscene is like 5% of the movie scene, the rape scene in the movie was far more graphic then in the anime. They included the sounds of the rape, showed Femtos dick thrusting into Casca twice, and when Femto threw her to the ground you could see his semen dripping down her leg. 3 years later here is an answer for the censorship : If they hadn't censored the game (especially the rape scene)it could have been ESRB Adults, and neither Sony nor Microsoft agree to have ESRB A games on their consoles, so they didn't want to take any risks and they censored.

I have a theory that Griffith is actually a God and was always a God just in temporary human form. He even took the human form again later on. When he became Femto, he just took back his original form. He always felt otherworldly and a God cannot be judged or at least condemn based on human laws/logic. It does not make what happened to Casca okay, but it does make it really hard to classify and react to.
While it is true that zodd also has a demonic horse that can save Casca and Guts he is still an apostle he can't defy void but there's a twist void really doesn't care so zodd could have saved them but then what does that make zodd? will he take them to skull knight? will he kill them both outside of the eclipse? answer is he will let Guts and Casca live because he is amused by Guts and wants to watch him grow especially by Guts he mainly won't kill Casca because Casca is the love of Guts, life which I'm sure zodd would figure out other than that this would make zodd an antihero if he does grow soft for "people" there's probably a good reason for it why the monster behind the slaughter has stopped slaughtering and take more pleasure in fighting skull knight so if zodd did save them instead this would make him a traitor to the apostles meaning he will be despised by apostles for helping humans but then later on he will be obtained by Femto for Femto bares no such grief or hatred towards Zodd for doing what he did in fact Femto probably believed it was for the best so this would make zodd an antihero and thus he will be hunted by apostles forcing him to eventually side with skull knight however there's a twist Femto won't let him because he's "obtained" Zodd and he will have "what he wants" in other words zodd would probably be hunted by Wyald for betrayal however this doesn't sound like something Zodd would do but then again just like Griffith Zodd was once a man as well.

3 years later here is an answer for the censorship : If they hadn't censored the game (especially the rape scene)it could have been ESRB Adults, and neither Sony nor Microsoft agree to have ESRB A games on their consoles, so they didn't want to take any risks and they censored.

What I enjoy about Guts' attacks on Femto is every fucking time he very obviously could kill that shit stain, but Femto used his dumbass powers or has an Apostle back him up to save his ass. I get why it's done like that, but I love how Guts' could possibly kill him despite being a Godhand.

I have a theory that Griffith is actually a God and was always a God just in temporary human form. He even took the human form again later on. When he became Femto, he just took back his original form. He always felt otherworldly and a God cannot be judged or at least condemn based on human laws/logic. It does not make what happened to Casca okay, but it does make it really hard to classify and react to.

While it is true that zodd also has a demonic horse that can save Casca and Guts he is still an apostle he can't defy void but there's a twist void really doesn't care so zodd could have saved them but then what does that make zodd? will he take them to skull knight? will he kill them both outside of the eclipse? answer is he will let Guts and Casca live because he is amused by Guts and wants to watch him grow especially by Guts he mainly won't kill Casca because Casca is the love of Guts, life which I'm sure zodd would figure out other than that this would make zodd an antihero if he does grow soft for "people" there's probably a good reason for it why the monster behind the slaughter has stopped slaughtering and take more pleasure in fighting skull knight so if zodd did save them instead this would make him a traitor to the apostles meaning he will be despised by apostles for helping humans but then later on he will be obtained by Femto for Femto bares no such grief or hatred towards Zodd for doing what he did in fact Femto probably believed it was for the best so this would make zodd an antihero and thus he will be hunted by apostles forcing him to eventually side with skull knight however there's a twist Femto won't let him because he's "obtained" Zodd and he will have "what he wants" in other words zodd would probably be hunted by Wyald for betrayal
however this doesn't sound like something Zodd would do but then again just like Griffith Zodd was once a man as well.
