Yeah even if Luka wins the chip SGA will be the favorite to win MVP from day 1. He’s so much better than I ever thought as a Mavs fan, like waaaay better. But Luka is still him plus some. A healthy Luka wins this in 5. If it weren’t for that game 1 disaster ( thanks coach kidd ) we sweep. Now anything’s possible. Okc is in do or die mode and game 7 is back home.

With or without KP Boston should have no problem. It’s a better smarter wiser Tatum and Brown, their role players are focused and they still have the addition of Jrue Holiday. KP is just icing on the cake, besides, he’s known to be hurt when it matter most.. ask Dallas.

First of all, both series are not over. And am I the only one who wanna see Mavs vs Wolves. Luka and Ant just going at it, bigs from both teams are athletic and good and Kyrie being that master Yoda type of guy, becoming the best player on the floor for some stretches.

Boston hasn’t been tested at all so far and I think that screws them over in the finals. Even if Knicks or Pacers give them problems, there’s not that much adversity as what getting through the West is. Dallas is tough as hell too, so if Denver gets out the West they will have seen everything thrown at them. I would take Denver in 6 against Boston.

No Legs I'm sorry I disagree OKC is not asking its 'other guys' to step out of their comfort zones. They were the best 3pt shooting team in the league they have shot 25% in the last 2 games and 33% in game 3 they are simply asking their other guys to give them what they gave them for the previous 86 games.
Playoff ball isn’t the same as regular season. So in a way yes you are asking for more from them. Specially since they have never been.

I disagree. The mavs are LEVELS, many many levels and tiers behind the nuggets for so many different reasons. I don’t think this years playoffs really had too much competition. You have okay series but nothing too fun, t wolves and nuggets has been best so far. East is just snooze fest

Luka’s stats and averages benefit from him having the highest career usage rate in league history, as well as the highest usage rate this season. In fact, he had such a high usage rate this season that the gap between him and the second highest usage rate (Giannis) is the same size as the gap between the second highest usage rate and the thirteenth highest (Kuzma). The gap between Giannis and Luka is the same size as the gap between Kyle Kuzma and Giannis. Take that into consideration
what is that stat. I know what it is and how the formula is to find it. You don't. Could you tell us all what it is. If Jokic averaged 34 like Doncic then jokic would have the higher usage rate. It has nothing to do with time of possession or ball in hands. NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT. all it is is points + assists. Yes, Doncic gets WAY more Points and Assists than Jokic ever did.

To put it simply, it is a measure of the percentage of a team’s total possessions that a player ends. This means that Luka has the ball way more than anyone else in the league (more than anyone in league history, in fact), and his offense exists to cater specifically to him getting points. It’s harder to have good stats on lower usage rate (and higher efficiency), which Jokic does head and shoulders above Luka

I think a lot of people were sleeping on Dallas unfortunately. I think if Dallas had the players they got at the trade deadline at the beginning of the season, they easily could’ve been a top 3 seed. The MVP voting is so stupid tho and the criteria is basically nonexistent cuz one year they count post-season success and the next year they are talking about “it’s just a regular season award”. I also don’t think NBA wants Euro players to be the face of the league, and Shai is closer to being American than Luka and Jokic 😂
