Don't forget, the Surface was only supposed to be a "reference" Windows tablet PC, but no other vendor could manage to make anything better. It wasn't meant to compete against legacy partners, but it absolutely embarrassed them. So, Microsoft kept rolling and now they have the only viable solution for the segment.

You know why it looks cheaper? It's probably because of the 16:9 aspect ratio. 16:10 is much closer to 1.618, the golden ratio that occurs in many things in nature and humans tend to find pretty.

I'd be interested to see more benchmark type metrics that includes photography software like LrC, Capture One, or Luminar. As I understand it, photography software tends to be more RAM intensive instead of CPU/GPU, so it might not make sense for every review, but I'd really like to see more non-video editing / non-video game, business or production type work included.
I love video editors and video games, but I don't make purchasing decisions over 3-5k on those specific categories; it'd be super helpful to get LMGs input in broader, or additional niche categories like commercial photography editing.
