Hey Everyone! ) I’m Anna and welcome to my channel. Here, I post some useful information for English learners. I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will - because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. I know exactly what it takes to become fluent in English and acquire an American accent in a non-English speaking country, and I’ve never even been to one. And I’m sharing this information here - on my channel.

Start a CZcams channel 😂🤣
Good tips except that I hate recording myself and then listening to it 😅😒

I'm from South Sudan. I didn't go to school when I was little because I was born during the war and to make matters worse our Country was invaded by the neighboring country. So it left us with no choice but to leave our Homeland and we went to other country to seek refuse, to make long story short I came to United States with my husband and my son. I started English as an adult learner it was difficult I got headaches when speaking English at first. Learning a language is a non- stop journey you have to be consistent. It's just you even native speakers learn something new every single day. Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us.
Amazing story ❤
I am truly impressed. I work with a lot of Ukrainians here in the U.S. and every time I hear them speaking in their native language it just sounds like gibberish to me. I imagine myself trying to learn their language and it just seems so impossible to me. So for you to be speaking my language at this level is mind blowing. There was a moment in watching this video I realized you're not an American and that you just acquired American english, I got a little freaked out because I was so impressed.
There are millions of people speaks just like her or even better but Needless to say English is the most beautiful and rich language in the world.Your mother tongue became part of me ,my daily life and even stopped speaking in my language because of willing to learn this delicate language
I am a native English speaker and I am blown away! 🤯 Your English is almost flawless! I’m watching this video in hopes that I can apply what you did in my language journey. I’m currently learning Spanish and Russian.
Thank so much 😃 good luck to you! I’m sure you’ll succeed!💪🏻
Ну как русский , даётся ?))
hi how are you? could you help me to learn english plis and i can teach you spanish please... say yes, is it a good deal no?
Hi! My name’s Peter. I’m Russian, learning English. If you are interested in learning Russian please, let me know. I assume, we could be helpful to each other, could we? We could talk to practice speaking. Thank you.

I really love english ... I am a big fan of native english speakers..
Iam proud of my self because I realised that I can understand the whole video without subtitles :-)
Yes, me too, I'm not speaking English yet and writing very badly, but I can understand the whole video
👏👏👏👏 same
I am proud of you too!!
I’m Canadian and I speak both Russian (my mother’s tongue) and English fluently and I have to say, I am so impressed. I haven’t met a single person with an accent so close to American that it’s hard to believe you haven’t been to an English-speaking country!
:) thank you )
Wow, the accent and melody is just amazing! You are NOT a native speaker? Unbelievable. When I start talking, I always sound very slavic, no matter how hard I try to pronounce correctly.
Can you give you number to me? I'm a beginner too, so I need someone to talk with me.
There are people who learn faster than others. This woman seems to be pretty smart.
This video is the best with step by step with details. I have been studying English for 2 years with my private teacher. But I realized that the secret is to put the language on your schedule every day. You can't have English only one time. Thanks. Hi from Brazil 💙💚💛🌎
You really inspire me! I love to know how people succeed because it makes me believe that it's possible, doesn't matter your situation.

I can relate to your story a lot. Wow that's amazing! you just listened to your gut and nobody else - amazing, amazing, amazing!
It’s not that people don’t know how to improve their English, it’s really just not spending enough time learning.
and with smart ways. ; )
You right bro things take time. And learning this language takes very long time..
No language can be mastered in few days it takes years of hard work
and talent! some of us have talent. But still it takes years.

I've gotta say most of things you explain in this video were the ones I did when I wanted to brush up on my english skills! Great video!
So happy to hear your story Anna :) I'm going to use some of your videos to inspire some of my students. This is similar to the way that I learnt Catalan at the age of 30 (I already knew some Spanish)
Thank You, Anna & Love this😍
Great example of success. I love learning English as my second language also. It takes time but as you said when work hard and spend enough time, eventually you can see the results. Great job !!
Hello, Anna. I’m Japanese and can speak American English like you even though I’ve never lived in any native English countries. You shared how you have become fluent in speaking English in this video and I realized I have done nearly the same things as you to be a fluent speaker of English. In my view, a good language learner could have the same kinds of learning methods or processes to be fluent wherever they live and what first language they speak. I have watched several thousands of CZcams videos about how EFL learners can improve their skills. I notice most of successful EFL learners have the same kinds of learning methods. Your videos are so inspiring and could make EFL learners motivated to learn further. Please keep on doing amazing and mesmerizing videos for EFL learners around the world.🙏
anyone here can help me to practice my English please
I don't believe you. I need proof that you can speak like American. Please make a video to show us.

Omg, me too! I’m from Malaysia and at best we speak a non-standard variety of English here but I used mostly similar methods as her too! I’m glad it works for you. My fluency is probably just 70% but I try my best to be as fluent as possible. I’m glad I’m alone in this kind of journey.

I wanna to thank again Anna you made me More excited and motivated that is great help only
My path was very different from yours and I took 15 years to get to fluency. But it was my path, the way it happened to me. I went to an English school for 5 years, then I did one more year learning how to teach English. It was awesome and I think at that point, I would be able to be fluent, but I didn't have any other chances to study or to use English. I went to university and despite I used it for texts I didn't have the chance to really talk in English. So I was just listening, watching, playing video games, all in English. First with subtitles, then without. Same with games, but all alone. Then in 2019 I had the chance to talk with a friend that came from US in English, and at that point, it took me 1 week to fluency. BUT I had spent about 15 years just passively learning the language, I couldn't use the spoken languange with others, just some small phrases that I shouted sometimes, some texts, but not a real conversation. One thing that is interesting is that I was able to talk in English with an American accent without even thinking of it. It just happened. Anyways, I still study everyday, and nowadays I'm trying to learn German, Italian and Latin, and had studied Spanish before but I still need to practice with others, the same problem I had with English. By the way, I'm from Brazil, and you can't find a lot of people talking in English around here. But like I said, this was my journey, it's incomparable.
I want to speak fluently.....which steps should I follow to achieve my goal? Iam not from English school.....
@@sridevirengarajan1445 One thing that made me get a fluent level was to listen a lot. I mean, it seems to be simple but it isn't so simple. I went through the process of watching movies and series, first using subtitles, then removing it to listen, and listening more and more, until I could get exactly what they were saying without any help. I played a lot of video games, usually with subtitles so they could help me to get different accents and ways of saying the same word. And finally I tried reading out loud texts so my mouth would pronounce the words the correct way, so I could get used to talking, saying words in English. And then, when I had the chance to have a real conversation in English with someone I just spent a day to get used to a real conversation. For me, it took some time, but everyone has its time, so you should keep practicing, this will get you fluency before you expect. And one more thing, when you have the chance, try to talk with someone in English, even if you're not fluent, this always help, and don't feel afraid to make mistakes, that's what makes you get fluent.
@@leonardonemesissk8trnice journey brother if you wanna have word with me you are most welcome......i appreciate your journey

Your American accent is extremely good. Outside of some Dutch people you sound the most like a native American than anyone I've ever heard. It's interesting that your vowels sound like the accent that is similar to people from Minnesota, USA. I've never heard that particular sound from anyone who isn't from Canada or Minnesota.

Stumbled across this...as a native American English speaker, just want to say congrats and well done for your fluency accomplishment! Very, very impressive! Your accent is excellent as well; only a few pronunciation nuances that give you away, but in no way is that a bad thing - those nuances give it that attractive character that is charming to native speakers. Just my opinion.
