- Welcome to our first video on How to build an FPV drone in India where we walk you through each step of the process, from building it to flying it. Even though we wanted to make it a comprehensive tutorial to get started in this Hobby, this video only covers some of the basics. Yes, That is the truth. It is not easy to get into FPV. It will take several weeks of practice, knowledge in electronics, soldering, etc etc to be good at this Hobby.
In this video, We wanted to show you it is possible to do a decent build with good quality products at a budget of 50K in India. However, this is only good to get started and you could expect anywhere between 1-2 L on gears to be a professional FPV pilot.

Hey i have one question, can DJI camera air unit O3 paired with DJI GOggles V2 work with any drone build??
i mean can any drone build with any system work with this Camera and Goggle set or we need to go completely DJI to make it work ?
Yes, You can use any controller. DJI O3 has built in receiver that can be used with DJI FPV Controller. It is a benefit if you already have DJI FPV Controller. If you would like to use an external controller along with DJI FPV controller, You will have to switch between the receivers in betaflight each time. Plus you will have to solder additional receiver for the external controller.

Hello, We are using Sequre D60A soldering Iron in this video. But we will not recommend it. You can go for a good soldering station depending on your budget. We are using TBS Hex drivers.
I'm planning to build one, but to reduce the price further, I'll try to use a cheaper transmitter like Flysky FS-i6x and skip goggles for mobile phone (with a video rx).
Hopefully this alone will cut ~15k.
Any suggestions further?
We will never ever recommed FS-I6X. This will be a very bad idea. You won't be saving any cost, But wasting money twice. Instead go for any ELRS controller, like Radiomaster Pocket which you can get for around 6K in India. For goggles, No need to get EV800D, You can go for cheaper version EV800 or a basic goggles like VR100. The mobile + OTG receiver won't work good if you plan to use it as FPV Goggles.
If you want to cut cost;
1.Go for a cheaper frame like Martian II or Apex clones
2.Go for a cheaper stack like HGLRC Specter F460
3.Consider buying Radiomaster Pocket
4.Change FPV Goggles to EV800
5.Change charger to ToolkitRC M6 V2

What's the range of panda rc vtx and ev800d goggles?
Range depends on many factors inlcuding but not limited to, Antenna, Antenna orientation, Output power, Environment etc. In open ground, we got morethan 1km video range. But in environments with many interference, and obstacles range will be poor and it may not be morethan 200meter.

Flight time is around 5 minutes, Range depends on many factors including the environment. In open ground, You can get around 1km range. We have tested for around 1km. But if there are obstacles, then range can be as low as 100m or less. Thank you

Which battery do i require to get a flight time of atleast 15-20 mins?
Hello. You can use a Liion Battery Pack to get more flight time, Or use Li-Po that has more capacity like 3000Mah. But you will be compensating perfomance over flight time. You can only get around 5 minutes with the best perfomance. Using Higher capacity or Liion will get you more flight time, But it is only good for cruising. Thankyou.

It is called a fail safe. If you have GPS on it, then you can configure Return to Home function in it. Else, drone will fall out of the sky or will land there according to your fail safe configuration. Thank you.

Whats the flight time?
With Gopro Hero 9, It is around 4-5 minutes.

@@abhijeetbara5610 Yes, You can improve flight time by using Li-ion battery instead of Li-Po. But by compromising perfomance. Normal flight time with best perfomance for 5" FPV Drones is around 5 minutes or less.
