  • In this tutorial, you'll see how to make better background images for Clone Hero. The current problem with most backgrounds is that they're either too bright, or too detailed. With the method shown in this video, you'll be able to make better backgrounds.

    Great tutorial man, I usually go for easy backgrounds like, taking the album art or any other artwork related to the song/album/artist, crop it to 16:9 and done, but it's also fun to put effects or blur or even pixelating them. Also yes bright and noisy backgrounds make me blink constantly and I usually go for my personal backgrounds, which are like 70% black

    I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I did all of the steps, but my clone hero just wont load ANY custom backgrounds at all.

    Bright and really detailed BGs are annoying as hell. I really hope Strikeline adds something like Osu, where you can choose a different blur percentage and an opacity level PER SONG.
