  • A 2017 edit of most of the MAG 2017-2020 CoP E,F,G and H elements on floor.
    PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING!
    First of all it's been a while since I uploaded something and I've been getting a lot of question and requests for new content. Even though I still love making videos, eversince I started working full time I'm just not getting it done. Corporate life basically killed my creativity and motivation! I'm still working on stuff, it just takes a lot longer to get done. For example: I started working on this video in May last year. I hope you guys understand.
    In this video you'll see most of the common E,F,G and H elements according to the MAG 2017-2020 CoP. Some changes were made since the last CoP. Salto skills ending in roll out are not allowed anymore and sidewards elements are now the same as their backwards equivalent:
    "All Arabian elements are in the group of acrobatic elements
    backward, Example Arabian double front ½ = same as double
    back 1/1 (D value). The following Arabian elements (Jump
    bwd. with ½ t. to double salto fwd.) have the same value and
    Code box as the bwd. double salto element with the same
    amount of twisting: Arabian dbl. str. ½ (Penev), Arabian dbl.
    str. (Tamayo), and Arabian dbl. str. 1/1 (Hypolito)."
    Some element are missing because they're just not that common and either weren't competed at a major competition in the last quad or will probably not be competed in the next quad. Besides that I only wanted to include recent HD footage of major competitions. We've all seen the old footage a million times, we don't need to see them again.
    Hope you enjoy the video!
    WS van Wijk

      Ka Po Chu that's in essence what a double double pike is, they can't pile and twist at the same time so they twist first before they pike

    • @amandahr9624
      @amandahr9624 Před 7 lety

      John Scanlan - what does 5/2 mean? It can't be 5 twists and something 2? I know "double salto bwd. str. with 2/1" means (backward) double layout with 2 twists, but I don't get the 5/2 and 7/2
      Help!:)

    • @rileyjohnson2138
      @rileyjohnson2138 Před 7 lety +3

      Amanda Hahonou Rasmussen 5 divided by 2 (5/2) is 2.5. So 5/2 is two and a half twists, and 2/1 is two twists. One number isn't flips, it's just easier than saying two and a half.

    I think that the sport is gradually losing it's placticity and grace more and more. It is just a buch of spinning and turnning so fas that you cannot even count or apreciate the form in the air.
