- A 2017 edit of most of the MAG 2017-2020 CoP E,F,G and H elements on floor.
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING!
First of all it's been a while since I uploaded something and I've been getting a lot of question and requests for new content. Even though I still love making videos, eversince I started working full time I'm just not getting it done. Corporate life basically killed my creativity and motivation! I'm still working on stuff, it just takes a lot longer to get done. For example: I started working on this video in May last year. I hope you guys understand.
In this video you'll see most of the common E,F,G and H elements according to the MAG 2017-2020 CoP. Some changes were made since the last CoP. Salto skills ending in roll out are not allowed anymore and sidewards elements are now the same as their backwards equivalent:
"All Arabian elements are in the group of acrobatic elements
backward, Example Arabian double front ½ = same as double
back 1/1 (D value). The following Arabian elements (Jump
bwd. with ½ t. to double salto fwd.) have the same value and
Code box as the bwd. double salto element with the same
amount of twisting: Arabian dbl. str. ½ (Penev), Arabian dbl.
str. (Tamayo), and Arabian dbl. str. 1/1 (Hypolito)."
Some element are missing because they're just not that common and either weren't competed at a major competition in the last quad or will probably not be competed in the next quad. Besides that I only wanted to include recent HD footage of major competitions. We've all seen the old footage a million times, we don't need to see them again.
Hope you enjoy the video!
WS van Wijk - Sport
Aghhhhhh, I actually got to meet Kenzo Shirai in real life and take photos with him! Best experience ever, love u Kenzo!
Billy Backflip he’s the man!
wow im jelly🥺
"Controlled Chaos." I friggin love this sport!
IMPRESSIVE 3.5 front twist
Uchimura and Shirai are the legends and representation of Japanese gymnastic.
The music made me cry with joy.
I'm so glad to see you uploading new video. Hope we'll see skills for other apparatus... (and not having to wait another year for it :) I appreciate the work
Excellent video, with the names of each athlete, and a description of the move for kids to learn, this is the best on the internet!!!
Never seen a double twisting double pike before! Really amazing.
I dont know why, it looks like a double twisting then single back pike to me xD
Ka Po Chu that's in essence what a double double pike is, they can't pile and twist at the same time so they twist first before they pike

He's back!! Nice video
Welcome back!!!
that double front salto is awesome!
I really like the Hypolito element (double arabian salto piked with full twist) nice EDIT maaan , awesome :)
Lmao a double double worth an H in WAG but it's only E in MAG 😂
Yeah and double double straight in WAG is I and only F in MAG haha
@@kurotsuki5015 And triple twisting double is J in WAG but only G in MAG! We ❤️ Simone!
So did Liukin get upgraded? Because I believe it used to be a G element before?
Shirai is awesome!
So sad that Kenzo Shirai retired without being Olympic champion (in individual).
Thanks :D
I was wondering when the nagornyy triple back pike would show up, but the video is older than it
I wonder what the potential Carey will be in WAG. K?
No Hypolito?
No full in front out? Or double pike have or double tuck half forward?
Like I say in the description, these are non common elements that I have no proper competition footage of. So they didn't make the video.
Ws van Wijk yeah sorry didn't read the description 😊
Ian McKenna no worries! I was still editing it anyway :)
The full twisting double front hasn't really made it to internaional competition yet. Rayderley Miguel Santana is skipping right over it to a 1-1/2 twisting double front (Hasn't been officially rated yet)
前方の三回半??
whhat abaout the arabian triple front or triple front? and how is possibile a double layout is only a d?
The triple arabian has never been landed properly, triple front has never been attempted and double layout is a D because its not that hard.
pike arabian double?
So Charlie Tamayo did the Biles before Biles did?
What is the Biles judged as? I know Manrique has did it at the 2017 Worlds.
Wym? Im pretty sure she did it even earlier though... And i think the difficulty is G?
In MAG it’s E but in WAG it’s G
If we show four versions of Steve Legendre doing the same skill (Dbl bwd salto 5/2) shouldn't it carry his name?
John Scanlan - what does 5/2 mean? It can't be 5 twists and something 2? I know "double salto bwd. str. with 2/1" means (backward) double layout with 2 twists, but I don't get the 5/2 and 7/2
Help!:)
Amanda Hahonou Rasmussen 5 divided by 2 (5/2) is 2.5. So 5/2 is two and a half twists, and 2/1 is two twists. One number isn't flips, it's just easier than saying two and a half.
Hope that made sense.
Riley Johnson - Thank you so much!! I get it now hah
John Scanlan if he wasn't the first one to compete it internationally, then unfortunately the skill will not be named after him
Gonzales???
what rating is the 2.5 twisting double straight
2.5 twisting double straight is a G in the 2017-2020 Code
diamondbirdcraft It is? It's a G as previously mentioned.
Are there any skills worth "I" on the floor for MAG
rainneyfabray rfcool triple layout back probably or a quadruple twisting double back !
No there is not ,the highest d score is just H with triple twist double layout
Koalakong !!!! A triple layout is impossible on floor, If they want to increase the score they punch to another element
This year was happened. Nikita Nagornyy made it "I" value with Triple Salto Backward Piked

Tamayo and Penev are the most elegant. Where was Hypolito?
Almost posted the same comment tonight! Still my favorite. All the twisty saltos lose their elegance.
Forgot a few
Hypolito? Zapata? Ect
The arabian jumps look awesome but dangerous.
Никита тройное сальто назад
I think that the sport is gradually losing it's placticity and grace more and more. It is just a buch of spinning and turnning so fas that you cannot even count or apreciate the form in the air.
Then stop watching
João Zamae Agreed. Too many twists. And tucks aren’t as elegant as pikes and layouts either.
it's not like everyone is always doing these hardest skills
