Trunk's new *form* is commonly referred to as Super Saiyan Rage iirc. It's pretty hard to say where it falls on the power level scale as the scaling is all over the place at this point.

Zamasu, as the Zamasu-looking Zamasu is from Future Trunks, timeline. Goku Black Zamasu is from Goku's reality but future along so a third reality.
Or a 5th if you factor in 1st-Future-Trunks who went back in time and created another version where the androids were beaten but Goku survived so no Cell. But that Trunks got killed by Cell. So...6 because of alt-present Zamasu/Goku Black.

Man the goku black arc was one of the most unique arcs ive ever seen ever. Goku black and zamasu literally made themselves unstoppable
The time ring protected future Zamasu from being destroyed alongside his past self.
If you ever think aboit any Saiyan going SSB, dont causse its not happening unless they learn to raise their energy inside of them without letting it leak out fron their body . Thats why mortals cant sense diety energy . Goku and Vegeta are the only 2 Saiyans who learned how to do that from training with Whis . Also Trunks new form is called SSR (Suoer Saiyan Rage) . Basically his form is literally fueled by rage . So he's basically going to keep getting stronger every time he gets angry . It makes him more stronger each time .
The evil containment wave is a move Master Roshi used on King Piccolo (Piccolo’s dad). It didn’t stop him but Roshi died for the first time using all his energy on that move. So it’s a memorable moment for the series. King Piccolo was an early villain in the series trying to actually do something super evil by basically turning the earth into a living hell with all the death, destruction, and demons he was unleashing on the world.
The zamasu stealing gokus body happens in the future from now in the story. The time ring keeps goku black from being affected by time travel shenanigans
Beerus destroyed Zamazu in the present using the haki, so he's dead permanently. But it didn't affect the Zamazu in the future.

Well Goku black is supposed to be the zamasu that beerus hakai but the time ring prevented him from disappearing, but could be a different timeline Goku black like some say, but I think I'm sure it's the time ring that prevented it
But he wasn’t even wearing it when he got hakaid… at least not that they show it or even explain that deep. This seems to be two different zamasus from two timelines that isn’t the normal one. One from trunks’ and the other from a third timeline (in zamasus case only) that succeeded killing Goku in another reality so another timeline and taking his body. If the zamasu that got destroyed by beerus “survived”, he would have still been in this timeline and killed this Goku we know. That simple
@@JayEmersontheman dude zamasu black was wearing the time ring, but I agree it doesn't make sense they are from the same timeline. But Goku black wearing the time ring prevented him from disappearing in some sense, beerus did say it affects all timelines or what not
its like this: THE PRESENT TIMELINE Zamasu is dead, destroyed by beerus.
TRUNKS' FUTURE TIMELINE Zamasu was still working as a supreme kai attendant.
THE ALTERNATE FUTURE TIMELINE, Zamasu succeeds in his plan before beerus can stop him. he swaps bodies with the goku of that timeline, then travels to TRUNKS' FUTURE TIMELINE with the time ring. There he recruits himself as they lay waste to Trunks' future.
The reason Zamasu was fails in the present timeline is because he succeeded in the alternate timeline. he goes to trunks' timeline to recruit himself, then to the present timeline to follow trunks at the start of the arc, thus making his familiar energy known to beerus and whis, which gave them a headstart in where to search for his true identity. Its a paradox. hope that helps
NOTE: Dragon Ball follows Non Linear Time Travel Theory. Actions in the past do not effect the future and vice versa. The only reason trunks came back the first time in the android saga was because he was unaware of this fact.
Finally someone explains it super well. This should be pinned. I saw some people thinking this is the exact same zamazu that got killed by beerus… it is BUT isn’t because another timeline split happened like when trunks basically saved Goku and warned everyone about androids or like when trunks got killed by cell in his timeline but it split cause it was not the trunks that came back to the past successfully. Too many timelines to count lol alternate timeline is the best way to explain since it would have been their future until a paradox caused them to be aware of what was to happen and changed the timeline completely splitting off again. I love and hate when db does this haha
The 'loophole' is the time ring. Goku black said as long as he wears it he wont be effected by anything happing across time.
The dub kinda fucked up by separating humans and gods as "mortals and imortals", because deities can live millions of years in Dragon ball's world, but they're pretty much mortals and we already saw multiple of them dying.
The world used for mortals in Japanese is "ningen", which means "human", because in Dragon Ball world "human" is used for any sapient race (like Vegeta and Bulma are both humans, but one is a Saiyan and the other is an Earthling)
Btw goku black is the zamasu who lost against goku from a different reality in the actual timeline but succeeded in his ambitions. Zamasu who is fighting with black is zamasu from future trunks timeline. Thats the easiest way i can put it
Every time Trunks comes back from the future he pushes their timeline of the path that it's on, creating a new branch in the timeline. So the Zamasu that becomes Goku Black is from the branch where Beerus doesn't destroy him after he kills Gowasu.
If you kill the kai's, you kill the gods of destruction as well. So that's why Berrus doesn't exist in future Trunks timeline. Kais of creation and gods of destruction go hand and hand. One can't exist without the other.

As far as i understand it: One of them is from Trunks future timeline, the other is from the same point in time, but of the Future of the timeline that Trunks came to get help from. i think Goku Black is from OUR timeline, but the future. Thus being from our timeline, he would be erased if he wasnt wearing the time ring, but the ring saved him which probably created a whole new timeline. Other zamasu, the Kai body one, would be untouched because he is from TRUNKS timeline.

Goku Black is from Goku's timeline, he used a green ring of time to get to Future Trunks's timeline (even though his is silver for some reason). The Zamasu with him is from Future Trunks's timeline where Goku died of the heart virus.
At this point the types of transformations start to diverge. As various characters make breakthroughs they will achieve forms reflecting their own personalities and motivations rather than following in Goku's footsteps. Trunks as a character has always fought and struggled against fate and this form (called super saiying rage which isn't my favorite name) is motivated to literally rebel against god.

The time ring is what prevents Beerus Hakai to affect time changes. If Goku Black didn't have the time ring he would've disappear when Beerus destroyed the main time line Zamasu, but since Goku Black has the time ring, Beerus destruction that would usually destroy every future version of Zamasu(Goku black included) doesn't work properly and created an new time line instead.
I never understood Future Trunks’s SSj transformation but it looks like SSj is infused with divine energy, if that makes sense, idk. Still cool though.
Trunks doesn't need transformations. He just becomes a gigachad whenever he needs to.

He's from a 3rd time line, in his time Goku, Beerus, and Whis didn't go back to save Gowasu. In the main timeline they met with the Kais to see if a time ring had gone missing since Black was seen wareing one. Black swapped with and killed his Goku for revenge but he didn't look like he had been involved in any such investigation, he was at home working the field like the Trucks/Goku Black situation had worked itself out, or like there never was one. So I guess in his timeline Trunks just leaves and Goku stops looking for Black? Goku goes "Well the ring didn't get stolen must have been nothing, time to go home." Then Zamasu just kills Gowasu as soon as they leave. Honestly I think the whole time ring explanation was just a convoluted way of getting Future Trunks back into the story.
Btw the evil containment wave is from Dragon Ball and was used against the evil Picollo.
Trunks already can go SSJ2. When he fought Goku (the normal one) he uses SSJ2 and Goku even comments on it does it himself and then goes to SSJ3 and beats Trunks. Goku black is the Zamasu from the normal Timeline that Goku fought and beats. He then takes Goku's body and travelled to Trunk's alternate timeline (which he knew about from the green time rings) and recruited the Zamasu looking Zamasu. Then wished for him to be immortal.
Future trunk transformation called Super sayian rage
As usual, we don't see the original timeline that makes it all make sense until the end here. In that one: Goku fights and defeats Zamasu. Zamasu uses the Super Dragon Balls to become Goku Black and begin his project. Black then unites with the Zamasu from Future Trunks' timeline. That leaves the 3rd timeline, the "main" one we usually follow. In that one, Goku fights and defeats Zamasu, but Beerus destroys Zamasu afterwards.
Think of it as an omniverse where everyone has a doppelgänger and they are all separated only by their actions in time. The alternate Zamasu is from one of those dimensions or should I say VARIANTS like in Loki

It is very confusing because if Goku challenged Zamasu in Goku Black's timeline, that means that Beerus and Whis were already suspicious of him, which means as far as we know, in Goku Black's timeline, everything we've seen from Future Trunks's arrival up until Gowasu's death happened the same, the difference is, for some reason, in Goku Black's timeline, Zamasu succeeded in killing Gowasu without Whis and Beerus interfering.
Why they did not interfere is the question. But it seems like Future Trunks didn't travel back to our timeline with Goku and Vegeta after their first fight in the Future with Goku Black and Zamasu. If they did not come back when they were suppose to, they could not have told Beerus that Zamasu planned on killing Gowasu, which means Beerus didn't know to kills Zamasu. I'm not sure if that's actually the case, but for whatever reason, Zamasu wasn't killed, so he killed Gowasu, took the time ring and the potara, traveled 1 year in the future to use the Super Dragon Balls and became Goku Black, starting the chain of events. Goku and Vegeta had to have come back eventually though because the events of Goku Black killing Goku in Zamasu's body happened a year later (after the Future Trunks arc), so GOku had to have come back at some point for him to be there to switch bodies with Zamasu.
Then, we have the newly created timeline where Beerus did kill Zamasu, but past events cannot be changed, so Beerus killing Zamasu actually created another timeline where Zamasu is dead, preventing him from becoming Goku Black. This does not change the events from Goku Black's timeline because as Trunks stated, the Grandfather Paradox does not apply. The past is only a memory of events, there is actually no past to travel to (According to Multiverse theory). Trunks traveled to a parallel present time that is happening at the same time as his present timeline. I'll go into more detail on how that works below, but before I do...
Let me just say that the manga explains this waaaay better. In the manga, Zamasu did not meet Goku initially. Inatead, the issue started when Zamasu was watching Gowasu watch the U6/U7 Tournament of Destroyers (Like we saw in the anime). Zamasu noticed Goku fighting Hit and after powering up to Super Saiyan Blue, Zamasu was shocked to see Goku, a mortal, channeling the power of the Gods and that upset him (his feelings about mortals were still the same as in the anime). Goku Black also did not travel to the past and fight Goku like in the anime.
So during this time, Beerus and Whis were not suspicious of Zamasu at all, neither of them ever got to see Goku Black, so no one stopped him from killing Gowasu, so thus, Goku Black was born, This backstory for Goku Black would have made a lot more sense in the anime and then the rest of it could have stayed the same. Now onto Multiverse theory.
According to Multiverse theory, there is no "past". The past is just a memory, something to recall events that have happened previously, but you can't actually travel to the past, only into the future. When someone travels to the past, they are actually traveling to another present time that co-exists and runs parallel with their own present time simultaneously.
Let's say you open a portal to 1916; On your side of the portal, it's 2024 present day, on the other side of the portal is 1916 present day, both are happening at the same time, however, the events happening on the 1916 side will eventually play out the same as the events in your 1916 until you step into that portal. Once you step into that portal, you have already changed the course of where that timeline was headed because you're not suppose to be there.
If time changes there however, stepping back into your 2024 side of the portal does not change because time is still simultaneously moving forward, whatever happened in your 2024 present timeline back in the 1916 of your own timeline already happened many years ago, it's past tense, you can't change it, but you created an alternate timeline in the 1916 that you visited, when that time catches up to 2024, it will be different that the original 2024 that you're from.
The Grandfather Paradox is another theory of time travel that the gods in the Dragon Ball series believe, which is why Beerus thought killing Zamasu would kill him across time. The Grandfather Paradox is the idea that if you go back in time and kil your own Grandfather, you end up not existing, but from what we learned from Trunks, time does not work that way. When you go back in time to meet your Grandfather, he's not actually in the past, he is in a different present timeline that just happens to take place during events that you perceive as the past, so he's not actually YOUR Grandfather, despite being biologically the same person, but it is just another parallel present time happening at the same time, so if you kill that version of your Grandfather, the you in that timeline won't exist, but in your timeline, that time has passed already and your Grandfather was alive, so you are as well. I hope that makes sense.

Goku has fought that aggressive before when Frieza killed Krillin in Dragon Ball Z. He was pissed and beat Frieza's ass. The abridged version is more dumb than Dragon Ball Super Goku. But if you kill or threaten Goku's family and friends, you piss Goku off, and he wants revenge.

Zamasu stole Goku’s body a year in the future and then went into Trunk’s timeline he wasn’t effected because of the time ring Zamasu already did what he was supposed to do n that’s why he’s there a year later with Goku’s body. Beerus prevented it from happening but he was already in Trunk’s future to begin with as Goku black.
This what pissed me off about this arc how they kept going back and forth in time doing nothing
my loophole from this is when they killed the supreme kai that effectively then killed future beerus then future whis wouldve known theres a problem. i know they cant interfere with mortals but eventually whis would need a new god of destruction. since future zamasu is the only kai remaining, whis would scout him as the new supreme kai thats opposite to the god of destruction. if he refuse, which we know he will, then zeno wouldve obliterate him. theres no interaction of that and thats my loophole of this shit or that future whis is still looking for a new god of destruction first until he can scout the supreme kai?

@@Cratossama it wasnt ignored, its just that in Future Trunks timeline, they basically never knew where New Namek was . In the present timeline, they only know about it because Goku didnt die from the heart virus and after he trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Gohan, he went to ask King Kai where New Namek was and thats when he recruited Dende to be the new Guardian of Earth because Kami was gone now . In Trunks timeline, it never got that far . Goku was dead and the other Z fighters died before even finding out where New Namek was and they cant do it by themselves now . Its too far to find .
