The fighting positions Goku was practicing before Frieza arrived with Baba were the same from the last time he saw Grandpa Gohan
It shows how much he meant to him and its a nice attention to detail
The anime retelling of Resurrection F was rushed, but one thing it did right was sneaking in so much unhinged Frieza dialogue. Frieza was much more racist in it than the movie version, and I loved it
Americans are so racist they needed to make Freeza racist in the dub too lol
Original Freeza's joke is that he's super cruel but very polite.
Speaking of Broly, the original dbz broly movie is non canon. Broly was finally made canon in the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie, which takes place after the Tournament of Power arc.
Dont forget to watch the Dragon ball Super Broly movie after you're done with the Dragon Ball Super anime. Its one of the best Dragon ball movies imo. You won't regret it 🙏.

@@JoshuaLowe-ci3wo being immortal will only do so much when your constantly getting beaten to death considering Frieza is connonicqlly the strongest character in universe 7 at this point and by a long margin. Goku mentions the being immortalthing, Frieza in the Broly movie mentions this aswell. Maybe you can argue after some point he'd have the get enough xenkai to be stronger than Frieza but would he want to continue fighting after 1000s of deaths.
They should have recruited Arale, she would easily solo the tournament with her gag powers.

Zamasu was generally reserved and elegant. Frieza was a massive racist who’s also a wordsmith. Caulifla has none of these things. She’s just abrasive and hotheaded. Vegeta used to be like that too but his dynamics with everyone carried him. I don’t like Caulifla either
Nah. Caulifa is very “in your face” type of rude and just overall obnoxious. Zamasu is very quiet, reserved and intelligent. I like Frieza bc of his racist humor and shit talking. I like Vegeta for many reasons

Btw for those who don't know the term "Legendary Super Sayain" was made up by the localization team and was not found in the manga. They refer to those stuff as their full power. And DBZ broly movies and all the others are not canon. Also universe 6 and 7 are pairs according to whis and tge universe 6 sayains are counterparts to the universe 7 ones. Cabba is meant to their vegeta, Califla is supposed to be their golu and Kale is the Broly. Lots of dbz broly stands out there though

Ehh, I’d 100% rather work with Cell. Just more personable and less evil than frieza overall. If I was face to face with Frieza, I have no chance at living. With Cell, I have at least a slim chance (if he’s in perfect form, I won’t have anything he needs like energy)

Hey Steph! The Emperor of the Universe has returned and of course i know you've been loving him so far in the ToP haha. Just a few points, though you may already know these being further ahead:
~Kale indeed is a reference to Broly and his "legendary" super saiyan transformation.
~While there are some specific panels in the manga that enable people to assume Beerus and Quitela are the strongest, it is never confirmed. What has* been said though is that the gods of destruction are more or less equal...with some being very slightly stronger than others.
~ Daman Mills does a fantastic job as Freeza. Chris Ayres would be extremely proud of him!

The manga never mentioned broly as being "the legendary supersayain", that was all the localization team to sell merchandise. Current canon broly isn't him either considering the manga and everything else yes in calls his form that fought gogeta, full power. Not going to stop people having broly as their favorite though
6:28 Depends on if you consider a universal twin related or not, I guess. Not-Goku's personality is in your face where Goku is laid back, Not-Vegeta is kind and non-aggressive, and Not-Broly is basically just the original movie version, only coming by her mousiness naturally instead of because of the slave headband containing him.

They could’ve avoided this stickin buu in the time chamber instead they let Vegeta blow it up but Buu was too OP with his healing, regeneration and absorption & Frieza is too interesting so it’s better for narrative reasons

Nah… when this first came out almost everyone was liking Caulifla & hating Kale for just being shy. Except me, I was instantly annoyed by Caulifla & felt bad for Kale maybe because I sympathized with her, I too was like that.
BTW in the Sub, 17 calls her “Maron” instead of “Marron”, Maron being that one chick that Krillin dated in filler arc before Future Trunks first appeared.

so if anyone doesn't know by this point Frieza has mastered his golden form being in full control unlike his arc or his movie where he didn't master it before fighting Goku and Vegeta because his golden form is stronger than blue but the stamina ran out before he could use it to beat both Goku and Vegeta.
I think Frieza himself mentions it in the next episode or 2

One reason why Goku decided to recruit a villain like Frieza is because back in Dragon Ball, baddies like Vegeta, Android 18 & Majin Buu have turned over the side of good. If a big threat like Buu could be redeemed so can Frieza. Plus after seeing how evil Zamasu was, who is basically like Lucifer, the devil himself, an entity who could onmy be stopped by Zeno because of his invincibility from the Super Dragon Balls, Frieza is not invincible and has been defeated several times.

A Sayian needs a strong negative emotion in order to go super sayian. There are exceptions to this, like Goren, trunks and Caulifla. However, anger is the most common denominator. However, what Kale is using Isn’t exactly anger… it’s a mix of sorrow at her lack of strength and anger at herself for not being able to pull out her power, and… jealousy towards cabba? Huh. Wonder what that’s about…
Kale is exactly like broly. I won’t explain why yet, but she’s 1 of a kind. No one else in universe 6 can achieve what she just did.
