I had a NC700X from 2013 to 2019 and did about 20000 miles on it, including trips from England to France and Germany. It was so awful that when I changed it in May last year, I had to get something at least a little different, so I forced myself to buy a new NC750X DCT.......
Sounds like my experience. I started with the NC700X DCT. It is actually only 670cc. Compare that to the NC750X with 749cc displacement. That is over 10% increase in displacement and approximately 8% increase in horsepower. When I upgraded to the NC750, I really felt the increase in power. And the DCT advanced by one generation at the same time. So, more power (same weight) and smoother transmission. I love the NC750X. I added HONDA top case and paniers, heated grips, a Madstad windshield (I STONGLY recommend the Madstad system), and some lights. COMPLAINT: The new LED headlight is a bright horizontal beam that leans with the bike, causing blind spots on curves at night.
@@RobertLeeLewisThe2nd do you mean that manual transmission version better and dct version!! Am confused little and want to choose between both versions
Mine is even more boring now I fitted a Shad seat on it and my backside doesn’t ache after an hours riding. Not satisfied with the excitement of constant buffeting from the stock screen I fitted a Puig touring screen. Now it is much quieter and duller to ride. And with DCT I don’t even have to change gear myself. It’s a miracle I can stay awake while I am riding.
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff thought about a shad seat. But opted for the air hawk seat cushion. It's a remarkable improvement. Had a shad seat on my mt09sp Now sold it. But just love my NC750X longest bike I've ever owned.
I'm young, 35, and I own this bike. I like hearing a 66 year old saying what I know deep down is true. I look at the GS and KTM's that my friends ride but the extra cost for those bikes just doesn't quite justify it to me. You pay 100% more for a new one and get 10-20% more experience and then on the maintenance/longevity side they're actually losing. I"m not the cool guy in the fleet but like you say, I go wherever they do and if there's ever drama surrounding breakdowns, it ain't me.
My Honda NC700S, that I bought in 2013 and has now 106.000 km is so boring that I have decided to keep it as long as I can. I am saying as long as I can because the bike doesn't show any signs of letting me down. In fact I found the bike so terribly boring that I also have a NC750S, from 2014 , that I bought used in 2017 from my local Honda dealer. I told the dealer that I would give this terribly boring bike a good home and always enough fuel, oil, care and maintenance and off I went. No regrets whatsoever, and before I forget let me say thank you Honda for the most boring bike there is, since it suits me like a glove. Thank you for your channel Sir, sharing your thoughts and stories of a really good , boring, excellent motorcycle. Safe rides and travels 👍🏍🙏
I've been watching your vids for a couple of years while looking for a bike. I finally decided that boring is what I want as well. I just put a deposit on the 2021 DCT version and expect delivery in May. I can't wait for a boring summer! Thanks for all the vids. They really helped me choose the NC.
I sometimes get a niggling for something else, problem is, I wouldn't trade my NC750X for ANYTHING else! I believe it's the pinnacle of a practical motorcycle! I wish I could thank you in person for the great videos about the NC750X and maintenance videos you have put up, but here will have to do. I've put 13,000 miles on mine and it's not quite a year old!
You know, I sometimes see Harley riders on weekend tours and it saddens me to think that despite me doing 20 thousand kilometers per year on my NC, rain and shine, I'll never be a fraction of the real biker those weekend warriors who do 1000 km are.
Fantastic review, I did 18,000 boring miles in a year on my NC750X through 14 countries with a mixture of camping and hotels. I sold it and and bought a Ducati Multistrada 1200, what a mistake that was too tall and heavy comfortable saddle was the only thing going for it. Currently looking for another NC750X or possible a CB500X as it's supposed to be more off roady. Keep up the good work !
@@NIP28 No not Honda, I did work for Harley Davidson for about 3 months but 6 days a week was a chore and I never got to ride my own bike. A Triumph speed triple.
Good to see another vlog from you after a while. I'm 56 and the "boring" 2020 NC750X ((❤)) is the last bike I will ever buy. It will see me ride into the sun till I can't get my legs over. I'm looking forward to the years ahead of riding on my prized NC.
No bikes are boring, only the riders. Some bikes are better than others at some specific activities. I have an NC and it's grown on me. I also have an S1000XR and that bike makes me go WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO every time I ride it But the NC does 80mpg and preserves my licence They both have their place.
I have enjoyed my NC750x since day one. 8 months in and I’m still in love. I’ve ridden for over 30 yrs; Honda Rebel 250, Yamaha VStar 650, Yamaha FJR1300, etc. Loved them all. But this ‘21 Honda NC750x DCT seems so ideal! Low maintenance, lightweight, low center of gravity, no clutching! I’m just totally enjoying the ride and the scenery. And yes, when I bring a guest along, the ride is no less thrilling! Power, no problem… Ride safe!
Just brought an NC. Looking at your past bikes, you have had a lot more dirt oriented bikes than I did. Your idea of off road boredom would be VERY exciting for me! However, I can relate to the pleasures of boredom as I own four late model GP 2 strokes, exciting track bikes to 99.9% of riders. On a twisty road I would take the boring NC any day, exemplifying your comment at 4.20 that the road is not a racetrack. The soporific manner the NC eats up "twisties" takes boredom to new heights. I have never "tolerated" boredom so much in my life. Now to find a dirt road to make my NC exciting! Great review, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great vid. I love my NC and am never bored, I never have to worry about riding the bike because its manners are impecable and it allows me to enjoy the ride and take in all the sights and sounds.
I know, right? My NC700X bores me to tears here in North Carolina, what with the mountains so close by. Delighted to see another video from you, by the way!
This is just the video I needed as i'm in a horrible situation. I've had so many bikes over the years, but mostly sportsbikes, had a bit of everything from Super Blackbirds, Fazer 600's etc, enjoyed them all but 99% of my riding is commuting because the bike is my only transport. Years and years ago I had both a Triumph Speed Four and a Triumph TT600 and they cemented themselves as my favourite bikes of all time...so much so that I purchased myself an extremely tidy TT600 3 weeks ago and I was back in heaven, problem with these is they are bastards to do even the simplest of jobs on, they guzzle fuel, even after updating fuel maps, they have the terrible throttle response and lack of low down power that causes issues during every day road riding. A few days ago a lady pulled right out from her driveway without looking and smashed into the side of me, my TT600 was a write off, as was her car so I'm proud of the bike for at least getting in its revenge before kicking the bucket. My insurance company dropped off a hire bike for me (that amazingly gets charged against her insurer, this is to make them hurry up and not drag their feet, works too). The bike they dropped off was a 2019 NC750X, I've not had a chance to ride it yet, but I knew very little about them and have been watching your video's, and it seems the perfect ideal bike for me, once my leg and shoulder are a bit better I'll be able to take it for a spin, but watching this vid has made me realize that as much as I love those Triumphs, and those sorts of bikes, perhaps it's time I let them go and just let them be a memory, and that the NC750X is the most sensible and practical bike that ticks every single thing I need. Thanks for the video, I think the sarcasm and good old Aussieness of it all has helped me see sense over here in the UK!
Another UK NC owner got his after an accident wrote his bike off and he got an NC as a loaner. He wasn't on his bike when it was written off so I hope you have made a full recovery. Accident at 06:03 czcams.com/video/TWT_INnoP2M/video.html
Had a 2000 TT600 loved it but it tried to kill me every time I got on it. The fuel injection had some issues. I was tempted to get another but I think sometimes its best to leave past memories in the past. I bought a 2022 Street Twin. Very happy though since I commute I am keeping an eye non the NC750X and the Triumph Tiger 660, 850 for the next bike
Thank you for a fantastic video. I've been waiting for a CT125 for nearly a year and discovered today a dealership locally has a 2020 NC750x DCT with 650 miles on it. You just convinced me. Again, thank you!
What a brilliant video. I’m picking up my brand new DCT on Tuesday, saw the headline of this video and thought oh no, I’ve purchased the wrong bike. Then watched it and could see you were being ironic, great stuff, happy again now.
easily one of the best bikes for marshalling cycle, bike, and running events - the ThinkBike Marshals love them - because for us, a boring event is a safe event and therefore we've achieved our mission
I kinda knew what to expect, but I got to say that your dedication to extending the pun well in to what seemed like forever impresses me. (and I'm kind of getting an impression of what most bikers you hang out think of your bike :P )
I detect just a smidge of sarcasm here. I’ll be getting a NC750X as a second bike. I intend to use it for reducing mileage on my Diavel, and for when I work overnight in areas that motorcycle theft is a concern. I enjoyed the video, thanks!
It's interesting how motorcyclists always claim to band together in one big group hug of camaraderie but then there's some real snobbery when it comes to who is or isn't a "real" biker. Anyway, great review mate and I have to say that you are the king of deadpan sarcasm.
Love your videos, especially this one. Am enjoying your vids vor a year now - and finally got my own NC750x with DCT last week. Have to say, ... your videos had a great impact on my decision to go with the NanCy :) So, wanted to let you know, you officially are an Influencer 😉 So, enough sugar blowing,... time to get bored! Taking NanCy out for a ride now. Have a good day and thanks for the great work!
I guess lot of commentators haven't catch a sarcasmus of the teller. I haven't bought it. Yet. But already felt in love with it as never and nobody before.
Could I ask how tall you need to be to sit comfortably. I have a 29.5 inch inseam. Is that enough for this bike, where the seat height is 32.7 inches (2014 version)?
You will be tip toed. Because Iow engineering, the NC has a super low centre of gravity making it a dream while moving through the corners but you will struggle at slow speeds.
Thank you sir! I recently purchased a 2018 this past April. I’ve put 8000km(5000 miles) since then. I love this bike. I’ve learned much from your content. Sincere thanks from North Carolina USA!
I love the constant reminder that I'm not riding a real bike everytime I pull away from a stop and the DCT does the shifting for me...and the 3.2l/100 km, well, real riders on real bikes don't even know how much fuel their real bikes consume. On the down side, being colour blind, the light show on the dash is lost on me...do other riders actually take notice of this feature? Additionally, I love that it's not a popular bike here in Canada. I recently picked up a new, old stock 2018 with an out the door savings of $3500 over the current year model...$9200 Cdn (7012 USD, 5927 Euro) all in 😊
I use the colours to help ride in a way that means I don’t get a break from the boredom stopping to fill up because I can do over 250 uk miles on a tank.
@@stevebolton8471 U.K. miles...statute miles, survey miles...Hmmph, didn't know that. We probably ride in a similarly frugal manner. I've always viewed fuel economy as a goal...as a form of tax avoidance. It would be nice to get feedback from the bike's computer, but unfortunately, colour is a language I don't speak. Enjoy the ride and stay safe.
1966johnnywayne Your reply led me to a page explaining the difference between the mile definitions. I just know I always pick UK miles on Fuelly. Incidentally my other tool is to always have the average mpg calculated on trip A and reset that whenever I fill up so I can read that figure. My average over 19K miles is 83mpg. Best wishes
Last year, I bought a 2016 DCT with only 1,400 miles from a co-worker for $3,500....not bad for a $9,000 bike! Already wishing it had 30 more HP, but I think I'll just go ahead and put a ton of trouble-free miles on it anyway.
Always thanks for your points of view. When with my nc750x with active DCT I drive around the woods of Vico Lake in a total atmosphere of tranquility, with the helmet with the bluetooth on while listening to the "Steve McQueen" of Prefab Sprout, or the best of the Prodigy, or a nice mix of Progressive Trance, or my playlist of American 70's Hard Rock or even "Violator" of my favorite Depeche Mode ... It's not just a "motorcycle ride" ... it's a "State of Mind".
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff Of course, in service and in public you have to behave in such a way that you can serve as an example for everyone else. Every traffic offense that is punished with a fine entails a disciplinary penalty of at least the same amount. The Honda NC 750 X without DCT with its characteristics was such a rational decision that I drive and walk around with a constant grin with pleasure. Additional the black version fits perfect to my Audi A5 quattro coupe in the garage.
I agree, I have had to put up with 3 boring years of boring trouble free motoring, boring commuting, boring day trips, boring touring, boring camping......
😂 OMGoodness mate, I love love your sarcasm! The one bike that takes everything in its stride with no dramas, well engineered, easy maintenance. I’m looking at buying a second hand one, came to you looking for the down sides and ended up wanting to buy one more 😂🤣.
Would you consider the DCT if it were availible over there? Kicking around the idea for touring but I've been riding since i was a kid and wonder if I'd miss the clutch
One of the reasons I bought the NC was it’s mechanical simplicity. If I was using the bike to commute in traffic DCT would be brilliant. But I only ride for pleasure. So - no, the DCT isn’t for me.
I’m on my second NC750X, does this make me a masochist? As my bike is now three years old, and with BMW having launched the F900 XR, I was convinced this was going to be my next purchase. However, after taking one on a test ride my hopes were dashed - completely! It was a wet day, the white demo bike arrived covered in road filth as a result of having woefully small mudguards. It troubled me that I was contemplating spending a five figure sum on something that would rarely look clean. Anyway, I was prepared to overlook the this, but, within 10 minutes of riding it, it was the vibrations through the handlebars, resulting in pins and needles in my hands, that ended my dreams. I was gutted! But I also had concerns about the worrying metallic noises this BMW engine makes at all speeds. Oh well...back to he drawing board. For now I’ll stick to 80mpg, cheap insurance, having a useful frunk, bags of low-down grunt and being (happily) boring.
Im owning a Honda CB600F for 2 years now. It has 102HP at 12.000rpm. Im using it to ride in weekends with wife on 250-450km rides, chiling on twistie roads..mountaing passes and so on. The thing is i never using it at its full power...not even once in 2 years. I just want to relax and enjoy the scenery without full throtle and maximum speeds. I'm considering purchasing the NC750X and your videos help me alot. Thanks
I can use all of the power on the NC when I want to but it’s not overpowered. I can’t see the point of paying the fuel cost of dragging a 1000cc, 1200 or even 1800 engine around the world. If the NC had a lighter frame it would be even cheaper to run.
You summed up the bike perfectly. The lean angle was ridiculous and never felt unsafe, which is probably dangerous. Could even get all my shopping in it with the tank space and top box. Only niggle I had was that the fuel cap was under the rear seat, so when it was loaded up, filling up was a chore, wish they had put it on the side like the bmw.
I have NC700 since it came out 2012 with 66,000 miles, I have though of trade it several times but i always change my mind with useful Frunk, easy handling and easy services. I'm easy going guy i guess.
Im doing the same on a 2stroke vespa, buddys are laughing.I have seen the trip from the netherlands to italy ,austria and all the way down to cote azur.Love the sense of humor.
"Of course I can't have any fun because I'm not on an appropriate motorcycle." Just TERRIBLE hearing about all these BORING benefits of this COMPLETELY AWFUL and EMBARRASSING bike. Hated every minute of the video. Very difficult to watch but I told myself, "Grow up and soldier on." Really appreciate all your NC videos, brother. Especially since we in the US really don't comprehend the awesomeness of the NC. OK by me - have owned 2 and looking for my next. Cheers from Las Vegas. Benjamin
Cool. Very similar biking history. Same age as you. Just ordered a ‘21 NCX which will be my 52nd motorcycle. Did trials, enduro, rally, road bikes and dabbled on the race track. Really looking forward to the low revving torque of the 270 firing NC.
Great vid, and you're exploring the issue "is there one bike for everything", that's something I struggle with, I suspect most riders do. By comparison you are in the Zen Zone with yours, which is a geat place to be. It's sad but true that trends/fashion and brand kudos have too much influence over us. I've also owned a few bikes over the years including several 1000cc plus bikes, and I do my own maintenance, so two cylinders is the maximum I want to cope with these days. In the continuing search for one bike to do everything I sold my NC four months ago and bought a Himalayan. I like the Himalayan, and I miss my NC. My girlfriend and I did lots of pleasureable miles during the UK L**k Down on the NC. The Himalayan can carry two, just not as well and as quickly as the NC. Top speed on the NC is 100MPH, it'll do that solo, or as I found travelling in Europe it'll also do that with full luggage and a pillion. Fuel economy is brilliant too. It would have been nice to try an NC with shaft drive, a few more BHP, and a more comfortable seat. Great vid, and I love the dry delivery/humour. I hope everything turns out well down under, the reports we get here don't look so good, these are strange days for us all.
I bought my Honda NC750 last year, and as I saw the title of the video, I immediately went to the comment section with intention to write "you idiot, you have no idea about motorcycles" or something, but luckily, I held back and watched the video first! Great review man, I feel the same as you. I am enjoying my Honda all the way!
Greetings from Newcastle England. I picked up a 2012 NC700 a few months back and being used to dare I say a little smother and with a bit of grunt. But I soon I realised that it’s no race bike but it’s not really much like anything, but it’s self. And this is why it’s my kind of a bike now in my 50’s, to commute and have a ride out or along with others. It just works for me, as they say. “ it does what it says on the tin” Thanks, safe riding.
I used to own a BMW R1200C. I sold it to buy an NC750X. The repair bills were really exciting and I would get palpitations and cold sweats when given quotes for repairs. Also, although it rode great, I was always excited (nervous) that every mile I drove was one mile closer to something really expensive going wrong.
Just drove my new (0 miles) 2019 NC750X home from the dealer yesterday. It's difficult seeing the dash (bright day). Is there a trick to making the dash more visible? I have no trouble seeing the dash on my 2012 NC700X.
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff Yes! I noticed that! I'm going to have to do something about that. Don't know what yet, but something. Easiest might be swapping the dash off another Honda. Brighter and bigger.
Boring?? You don't know the meaning of the word. Took mine out the other day for a ride no more than 5 klm from home in this lock down. Now, that's boring. Great video and you sum the bike up so well. Thank you
Really loved your videos and they helped me decide buying one of these amazing machines. I bought a used one a couple of days ago, the 2016 750x dct version, 13k km on board. I love to ride this, is so easy to ride, so nimble and compared to my last bike who had double the power and the horses I ride this one MUCH faster than that one and much more relaxed and focused. Very comfortable and I really like that the exhaust is not loud and the engine has a low rumble, is just perfect for my ears. It's just full of small things that just makes you smile. I'm sure all the motorcyclists that don't see it as a real bike due to low specs and no gear shift(on DCT version), once given the chance to ride it, it will change their minds. Thank you for posting these videos, really had an impact on my decision, especially that sarcams.
Greetings from another boring NC750X rider who actually bought CBF1000 just to decide that I couldn’t separate from NC and then sell CBF two weeks later and keep the NC. I’m looking forward to new NC800 there are rumors about.
Hello from Spain, thanks for tour videos, awaiting to get hands on my new Nc750x DCT from the dealer. I have two questions:¿ What brand and model of tyre is good for 90% good pavement Road and 10% very light off Road on good conditions? And , does you find necessary to install a rear Fender? Thanks
Tyres: I’ve been running Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 Fender: not a fender, but a “mud flap” to protect the rear shock. See my modification playlist. There is a vid of what I did.
I agree, I have seen a ton of really boring motorcycle videos of 20-30 mins each (not sure why people can't make a short informative video), and this one is the most clever and fun to watch. Sort of Frasier series :)
new to your channel ,just bought a nc750x 2016 last week ,wish i would of bought one earlier ,ive owned many bikes ,enjoying your channel ,great information and has been a great help , loving my boring nc 750x
I've been looking into the NC750X for some time now currently still in the process of convincing the misses I do need a new bike to go to work (about 55km one way). Now with the new 2021 model announced would you recommend waiting for this one or go with the 2020 model? I would apreciate your opinion on this as I do enjoy your honest reviews in your channel.
Mine is a 2016 model - manual gearbox. Poor sales in Oz means Honda Oz aren’t importing them anymore. There are lots of excellent bikes available now, so choosing just one is almost impossible. There are practical reasons to buy the NC, and the DCT version makes a lot of sense for commuting. I don’t see much benefit in the 21 version over the previous models. So price of a superseded model can be a factor. And the bike will last for ever. One owner has done over 220,000km to date (DCT version) with only routine maintenance. But in the end, you should go with your heart as riding is about fun, not just practicality.
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff I can't help but think the DCT version takes a bit away of the actual motorcycle riding. I like shifting gears :) The price of the NC is also very good... I think I might just pop on over to the store on saturday and put my ass on one to see how she feels.
@@EmpZombie I would go with DCT if money isn't a factor. You can still shift the gears if you want with a couple of small paddles in manual mode. But always have an option of lazy driving in the auto.
Is the bike good for riding 2-up? Most reviewers say it isn’t based on horsepower, but I don’t think they’ve ever tried it. I’m really leaning towards picking up one of these, but can’t find a definitive answer on riding with a passenger.
My wife has her own bike. So I can’t comment with authority. I know a number of long-term NC owners ride two-up. Personally, I don’t think it’s ideal. Not from a power perspective but comfort for long trips.
Your videos are really informative and entertaining. After watching almost all of them, I was wondering if you could do one on the tinkering tools you use in your shop. Specifically your welder, and what your setup/materials were when you did the aluminum sump guard, as well as your plasma cutter.
I love that bike and the space to keep helmet inside is very nice, but i need a bike for daily use in City and and im just 1,70m and a Light weight bike will be most indicated for me i think im going for Cb500x 2019 or 2020. What do you think?
Take into account that the centre of gravity is rather low with this bike, which makes it rather easy to handle, even though it's on the heavy side. You might want to check whether its height is ok for you. It's a narrow bike, especially around the knees, therefore you may be able to decend you feet lower than with wider bikes. Videos of short females, telling about their experience with the NC, are on youtube, though, and what they report sounds encouraging.
As an R1200GS owner, I think you're giving the GS too much credit. In general, the GS is equally boring as the NC750X, the only extra excitement you get with the Beemer, is a few moments of anxiety between walking into the workshop to pick up your bike after maintenance, and being presented with the maintenance bill.
Very nice description and I totally agree that most safe reliable bike not fun but for me as bigner I found it very useful and fun to drive it with confidence 💪🏾
The NC750X DCT is probably the most under rated bike ever. I will never sell mine even though I am contemplating buying a Yamaha FJR 1300 AS for long distance (800 km) ride in one day in roads where there are not much speed limits...:)
It was quite boring waiting for you to post again, just to see that you're more or less ok and just bored out of yer skull. Now I can add to my boredom by watching this again at half speed- the dryness of the humor and sarc factor increases by the square. Thanks for the video scrapbook of past rides. All the best to you and your riding partner. Stay bored.
All this and no traction control, electronic suspension adjustment, adjustable engine mapping etc.. In fact no fripperies at all. You just have to get on and ride. It goes where you point it. All this and 80 miles to the gallon (imperial). Where the challenge. In case you haven't guessed, I have my tongue firmly planted in my cheek. And yes, I have one, an NC700X slightly less power than the 750 version. But it still has the same power output of my R800RT. All in all, a typical Honda. And it doesn't crease the wallet to buy one either.
heya mate i am thinking of buying one...do you think i can keep up with other bikes like tracer 700 or naked 600?? 60hp is OK but with the dct version you change gears faster than aby1 is that true?
The NC is a modern bike for today easy to dismiss on looks alone but ride one and it all comes together ! It’s the step before electric takes over folks , Honda knows where it’s going!
where did you find that song hahaha, i have wr250r. often taking trails at 60mph+. want to do minimalistic touring, as in not an 800lb bike. i think boring is just for me. love the cargo box in the front.
That was Boring, couldn’t believe how dull it all was. I just can’t believe it’s that bad. So I have decided to get one for myself and then I can be bored too. If it really is that bad I’ll probably keep it to see if things will improve over time. But I doubt it. Think I’ll have a sleep now. Goodnight.

Thanks mate. Well said
I've been watching your vids for a couple of years while looking for a bike. I finally decided that boring is what I want as well. I just put a deposit on the 2021 DCT version and expect delivery in May. I can't wait for a boring summer! Thanks for all the vids. They really helped me choose the NC.
Thanks mate. The waiting will be a killer.
Thanks mate
You know, I sometimes see Harley riders on weekend tours and it saddens me to think that despite me doing 20 thousand kilometers per year on my NC, rain and shine, I'll never be a fraction of the real biker those weekend warriors who do 1000 km are.
It’s also not unusual for their group rides to include a car and trailer. 😁
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff What IS unusual is a bike with actual miles on it
Fantastic review, I did 18,000 boring miles in a year on my NC750X through 14 countries with a mixture of camping and hotels.
I sold it and and bought a Ducati Multistrada 1200, what a mistake that was too tall and heavy comfortable saddle was the only thing going for it.
Currently looking for another NC750X or possible a CB500X as it's supposed to be more off roady.
Keep up the good work !
u work for honda?
@@NIP28 No not Honda, I did work for Harley Davidson for about 3 months but 6 days a week was a chore and I never got to ride my own bike. A Triumph speed triple.
Good to see another vlog from you after a while. I'm 56 and the "boring" 2020 NC750X ((❤)) is the last bike I will ever buy. It will see me ride into the sun till I can't get my legs over.
I'm looking forward to the years ahead of riding on my prized NC.
Because of all your boring videos about Nc750. I had Nc750 and i love every boring thing about it...
Thank you man.
No bikes are boring, only the riders.
Some bikes are better than others at some specific activities.
I have an NC and it's grown on me.
I also have an S1000XR and that bike makes me go WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO every time I ride it
But the NC does 80mpg and preserves my licence
They both have their place.
So true. Thanks for your comments.
If your manual NC is boring
Imagine mine with dct transmission ! ;o)

@@richardblanchet9144 Yes we have limited choice for our next bike really....Goldwing perhaps if she lets me re-morgage!
Gold medal level sarcasm. Good stuff !
As bored as I was watching this video I boringly decided to buy this boring bike so I can be bored as well
How sad. I’m sorry for you 😢
@@AfricaTwin-Stuff 🤣🤣🤣🤣omg I almost died laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep I've gone in 36 years from 80 cc to 650, 700, 1500, 150, 600, 1800, 1300, to the nc750, the sweet boring spot.
I had a boring NC for five boring years. It had a really boring mpg. Not suited at all for a country with exciting fuel prices like Portugal.
Ha! Thanks mate. Sounds like you are having excellently boring experiences with the NC.
By the way, I’d love one of those 2stokes.
Great vid. I love my NC and am never bored, I never have to worry about riding the bike because its manners are impecable and it allows me to enjoy the ride and take in all the sights and sounds.
Does it vibrate much ? My CB500X vibrates like a blender.
I know, right? My NC700X bores me to tears here in North Carolina, what with the mountains so close by. Delighted to see another video from you, by the way!
Thanks mate
Thanks mate. Hope you recover quickly and are on a bike soon.
I’ve just bought the DCT version, and it’s really boring in stop start traffic during my commute not having to feather the clutch constantly
(and I'm kind of getting an impression of what most bikers you hang out think of your bike :P )
you've made making my decision of getting one so much easier. love the vids !
I detect just a smidge of sarcasm here. I’ll be getting a NC750X as a second bike. I intend to use it for reducing mileage on my Diavel, and for when I work overnight in areas that motorcycle theft is a concern. I enjoyed the video, thanks!
Sarcasm? Me? Surely not!
Hello, great video. Exactly my thoughts and experiences with the Honda NCX 750. Have fun with your next trip.

Great video, very well summed up, makes me even happier with mine ! Best wishes (KB Wales UK)
It's interesting how motorcyclists always claim to band together in one big group hug of camaraderie but then there's some real snobbery when it comes to who is or isn't a "real" biker. Anyway, great review mate and I have to say that you are the king of deadpan sarcasm.
Thanks. Appreciated 🤓
Love your videos, especially this one. Am enjoying your vids vor a year now - and finally got my own NC750x with DCT last week. Have to say, ... your videos had a great impact on my decision to go with the NanCy :)
So, wanted to let you know, you officially are an Influencer 😉
So, enough sugar blowing,... time to get bored! Taking NanCy out for a ride now.
Have a good day and thanks for the great work!
Thanks mate. Enjoy your adventures.
Best sales pitch ever!! I’m sold!!
@@porkchop10 That's the sort of deal that puts a big smile on one's face...enjoy the trouble free miles.
Exactly. Thanks
This guy just annoyed, bullied and infuriated everybody who doesn't own a NC 750X, I like this guy.
Ha. Sorry about that.
As a german civil servant I am doomed to ride a "boring" motorbike by law, gruel world 🤣
Ha! Funny.
Nc750 x dct fantastically boring machine...I'm so boring that I cant see me ever changing it...man and machine in perfectly boring harmony.

thanks to you i have been maintaining my nc750x all by myself for a year now, before i saw your channel i could only lube the chain
I have the dct and when I go back and ride my other bike with a clutch it seems so labor intensive lol Dct forever in my life here 👍
I’m on my second NC750X, does this make me a masochist?
Yes. It’s disappointing you don’t feel man enough to own a BMW.
I already wanted this bike but now I want it more! Just waiting for the 2021 model to reach the USA. Thanks for posting! Great work!
I actually prefer the looks of the 2020 model. It's a shame they messed up the style and paint options. Looks like a cheap Chinese knock off now.
Thanks
Your point is very true. We can’t use all the power of most bikes in the real world.
Nice - hope you have many more adventures on your NC.
🤣🤣🤣The DCT automatic is even more boring because it changes gear for you. Great review. Thanks. Nick Revrev
This video is great, funny and everything but: boring👍
Thanks mate. Doing well here. Everything is opening up and the state borders as well.
We now have a number of days with no new cv cases across Aus.
Love the vid. Smiled & laughed all the way through.
Ha! Good on you. Many others didn’t have the foresight.

“ it does what it says on the tin”
Thanks, safe riding.
Love this and especially the drone video!
Just drove my new (0 miles) 2019 NC750X home from the dealer yesterday. It's difficult seeing the dash (bright day). Is there a trick to making the dash more visible? I have no trouble seeing the dash on my 2012 NC700X.
The dash visibility is very poor in most sunny conditions.

@James Stewart there is the manual version too, with gear shift and everything.

Fantastic, really enjoy your wit.. Keep it up :-)
I've been looking into the NC750X for some time now currently still in the process of convincing the misses I do need a new bike to go to work (about 55km one way).
@@chrisw4215 Thanks Chris but I went for the 2020 regular version...the dct just does not do it for me.
@@EmpZombie I hope you are happy. I'm torn between this bike and the new tracer 9
Boring is good. I think you've sold me on looking into one
Boring is best!
Your videos are really informative and entertaining. After watching almost all of them, I was wondering if you could do one on the tinkering tools you use in your shop. Specifically your welder, and what your setup/materials were when you did the aluminum sump guard, as well as your plasma cutter.
Thanks mate. Have a look at my other channel. It might help answer your questions.

I love that bike and the space to keep helmet inside is very nice, but i need a bike for daily use in City and and im just 1,70m and a Light weight bike will be most indicated for me i think im going for Cb500x 2019 or 2020. What do you think?
Not my place to pick a bike for you. Go with your heart. But you might find the CB a bit more of a stretch for your legs unless you get it lowered.
I already buy a new Cb500x and every day i ride and love it more. Thank you for share your know how
As an R1200GS owner, I think you're giving the GS too much credit. In general, the GS is equally boring as the NC750X, the only extra excitement you get with the Beemer, is a few moments of anxiety between walking into the workshop to pick up your bike after maintenance, and being presented with the maintenance bill.
Hmm. I think you are right.
I owned a 1150GS for 13 years and did my own maintenance so missed that excitement.
Great video, love my 2019 NC750X, it's a keeper. I picked up a 2020 VStrom 650 Adventure and still ride the NCX more. Great bike.

The NC750X DCT is probably the most under rated bike ever. I will never sell mine even though I am contemplating buying a Yamaha FJR 1300 AS for long distance (800 km) ride in one day in roads where there are not much speed limits...:)
The NC may very well be the best all around bike on the market. The Swiss army knife of motorcycles. Thx for posting! 🙂
Great vid mate it’s a Honda can’t be bad aye happy trails cheers
It was quite boring waiting for you to post again, just to see that you're more or less ok and just bored out of yer skull. Now I can add to my boredom by watching this again at half speed- the dryness of the humor and sarc factor increases by the square. Thanks for the video scrapbook of past rides. All the best to you and your riding partner. Stay bored.
Thanks mate
On the track? No. In real life on the road ? Definitely.
The NC is a modern bike for today easy to dismiss on looks alone but ride one and it all comes together ! It’s the step before electric takes over folks , Honda knows where it’s going!
I love my '18 NC750X Dct with Abs. Cheers from Canada🇨🇦
where did you find that song hahaha, i have wr250r. often taking trails at 60mph+. want to do minimalistic touring, as in not an 800lb bike. i think boring is just for me. love the cargo box in the front.
My next motorcycle! Boring 👍🏼
Goodnight.
Ha. I sympathise
