  • The day of my arrival in Liberia, on our way from the airport, my sister took me to “Red Light”market to buy food for her to cook for me, she said there were no food at home @4p😂
how many of you have stayed in family houses instead of renting hotels during your visit back home? I spent like crazy staying with them!!
It was my first visit, so I made sure that every single family within the city range got gifts from me, even including the elderly women in my village.. Instead of thanking me, some were complaining that I did pick and chose with the presents 🎁
That was my first and last time taking gift for any family members!
The only people who cooked without me giving them money were my childhood godmother, my brother’s wife and my other big sis in the village.

We have all experienced this. My first time back, I was expecting a lil bit of love and welcome but instead I became Bill Gates. Spending money left and right… I soon you stop or let say the money finish you’re by yourself now😂😂😂. Thanks for the great advice….especially for those back home, pls change ur thoughts process about us when we return.

@@vmonnaj So I built my private residence about 3 minutes away from the airport. Guess what some of my friends and former classmates said…. They claimed that I built my residence in an unreachable location. Yes they said that. They are trying to say that I don’t have the right to choose where I should live. Where I live should meet their demands and approval. That’s how crazy people can be. When you make mistakes and live in close proximity, you will receive unannounced visitors as early as 6AM. And they will demand that you wake up from your sleep to attend to/give them transportations. My auntie and I are not on speaking terms for that reason. She came over on a Sunday morning at 6. I usually sleep up to 11-12 . My auntie demanded that I wake up. She kept sending the maid to tell me that she was around. I got pissed, went downstairs to meet with her. It was after 10am by then. My auntie started blasting that she has been waiting since 6am. So I said to her….. did I ask you to come to my house at 6am? Don’t you have anything to do at your house in the morning? Did you call to know what time was good to visit? Don’t you have a phone? I left and went back to my bedroom. 3 years ago no speaking. End of story. You na able them
