  • For 14 years until 2003 Liberia was gripped by a shockingly violent civil war. Infrastructure collapsed, thousands died and the country all but came to a standstill. The gateway to the Liberian economy Monrovia’s Port, once the pride of the region, was destroyed.

I can't wait until I step foot in Liberia. I recently connected to my Liberian family via Ancestry and a group of us are now planning a trip home🇱🇷🇺🇲God willing

Liberians are warm and generous people and love to be hospitable. I am interested in some business ventures myself!

    I love Liberia!
Lived there between 1998 and 2002.
My heart is still very much there, and I hope to visit soon

It's good to see the port working. How does it meet its power distribution needs? Was any certification required for it to become operational?

Wow! 25year concession for only $120M. A whole port? Damn that’s cheaper than cheap

Maybe $120 millions was the best deal that they were getting at the time...in 25 years that same port will be more developed and much more important so this is a good and smart investment for Liberia...

I want to see something that's working that wasn't really working before. International trade is good if it's a win win. If not, than it's a waste of time. Liberia need to put it's citizens first and stop having international country run it's country. It's hurting Liberia, if it's not the right country to trade with than find the right country.
