Do you feel properly revived?This structure is Meiji Centennial Observation Tower, which "is in the south east corner of Tokyo bay. It's actually in Futtsu park in Chiba prefecture," to quote @paul anderson If you are interested why it was so windy during filming, then you should know that this was done after a typhoon. These were remnants of it.
This song made another day brighter for me, to be honest. Lots of energy and great musicianship and Mayu´s vocals are the cherry on top. It is really great, for instance, how they put together that visual of her running with such guitar riff and galloping drum section (her legs are going through an intense work-out session) not to even mention what Haraguchi is doing there. The almost non-chalant expression on Hazuki´s face while she does her solo like it is nothing. And Saki did one of her favourite whammy bar bends (one of my other favourite ones is in Mary´s Blood´s "World´s End", but that is not important, right now) to open the solo part. :-)
There is also the cover of Maximum The Hormone´s SHIMI, in which Mayu challenged herself to do all parts which are in the original done by three vocalists (harsh vocals, clean vocals and cute anime vocals). Or the most recent single, which came out only 4 days ago - 【MV】NEMOPHILA/HYPNOSIS
The screech sounds are so Dani Filth amazing stuff from the vocalist I didn’t think anyone would ever produce sounds that reminded me of him

The location is Meiji Centenial observation tower in Futtsu Park Chiba Prefecture built in 1971.
It is located in the South-east corner of Tokyo Bay.
I feel for the gear guys that had to lug all their equipment up all these stairs!

NEMOPHILA 🌸 The hottest new band out of Japan. They were just getting started when the pandemic hit, but that didn't stop them from working hard for their fans with those fun and kawaii covers they did during the lock-down. You can tell they were just living their best life doing those. Now they're full-throttle with original work. Literally just released a new single, HYPNOSIS on the 17th and first album set to release 15 Dec. Nemophila are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Their debut album, also called Revive, is out early December. It’s diverse and high quality stuff as always from them. Ordered mine a month ago.
My only fear is that it usurps Hanabie’s “Girls Reform Manifest” for J-Metal album of the year.

Nemophila is a band formed in 2019, but actually each of their members is from a different band, and they are a very unique band, each song has different elements, Two guitarists: Saki（from Mary’s Blood) and hazuki（from lisa-X band) are very well knows female guitarists in Japan, drummer murata tamu has collaborated with many singers and bands，and she also a solo drummer , the singer mayu（ex-Lipstick) with a highly recognizable scream and beautiful voice. haraguchi（ex-Hölderlins) is the happiest bassist I have ever seen😜

You cant stop there. :) Keep the Nemophila train going. Check out their song LIFE and look at the lyrics on that one. Possibly the most uplifting lyrics I've heard in a long time. There is a lyric video on YT for that too. Then there's "Hypnosis" the latest release which musically is very interesting.

You're right. That's exactly where it is.
Revive is only the second Nemophila song you’ve heard? They have many more great videos. My favorite is Oiran, recorded live in studio (I still like it better than the later concert video). And they made many cover song videos, covering a lot of different styles that showcase the vocal versatility of Mayu, from pop to death metal, all worth checking out.
Nemophila aren't alone in the J-metal scene (especially in the "girls metal" subset) in having positive, uplifting lyrics, but their take on it has plenty of "you need a swift kick to the backside...get it together!" in it...and I love it. "Ignite your shitty rotten heart [...] you wanna die like a loser?" =)
Nemophila have become my favorite band anywhere in their two short years of existence. Crazy talented at every position, but maybe the best thing about them is that the incredible chemistry between members gets communicated to the audience SO perfectly. It was that chemistry that turned what was going to be a one-off project of Mayu's into a "proper" band, and the metal world is better off for it.
Check out their most recent release, "Hypnosis." It's bassist Haraguchi-san's first musical composition for the band (guitarist Hazuki wrote the lyrics), and it's yet another example of their versatility. Exotic and _very_ heavy, and Tamu absolutely destroys on drums.
