- This is John Collura's reaction to watching NEMOPHILA / 雷霆 RAITEI [Official Live Video] for the first time.
John Collura joined the Ataris as their lead guitar player, piano player, & backing vocalist in 2001. He played with them through 2008 and then came back in 2013-2014. He's currently writing new material and touring with the band.

Another great set of videos from your road dogs series. John was a fantastic guest, knowledgeable, engaging and respectful of bands that aren't really his thing. Joel, I don't know how you find your guests, but man, you haven't had a bad one yet.

Yes, he have had a bad one. One that (almost) did not like a thing. If you missed him, you really did not miss a thing.
But other than that. I think this idea with Joels friends is amazing. I am eagerly waiting for the next one.
One thing I think makes those reactions interesting is Joel's style that makes his friends honest. You can trust that it is not fake.

I love this band. So good. You should check out the band Mary's blood and their song starlight and the band scandal and their song A.M.D.K.J. both are female Japanese bands.
First time to see this video. I’m impressed by how MAYU’s vocals here sound just like on the studio recording.
Great performance. Love the gutarists, SAKI probably in my top 3 gutarists, but holy cow TAMU is a powerhouse throughout their live concerts, world class.
Her personal channel is worth checking out. She's got a ton of drum cam videos on projects outside of Nemophila that show her versatility.

@@michaelthain4488 I actually enjoyed her in Nekonote backing up Wasuta. Watch drum cams view of "Choco Beam" many times, which is saying a lot if you know my background lol. She been one of my favorites for a while. Her versatility is extraordinary and you have to appreciate someone who spends that much time perfecting their craft.

Trash style yeah mixed with metallic Judas priest mixed with Iron Maiden. But in a Asia energy style. I think this is the best band of Asia you´ve react on alltime, the key changes and the riffs wow!!! Ado is also a favorite, amazed by her. As usually a great reacting 🤘Keep em´Rolling Joel

If you're looking for a new Japanese band to really confuse people: HEY-SMITH is a Japanese Metal/Ska band.
Well he gets the thumbs from me for just having a MUFC logo on the wall .Nemophila are in my view the best thing for metal world wide bringing in new fans that would not normally listen to heavy music .
Warning released 2 new songs with official lyric videos are you going to do both or one ? Hell you call a dream and que mas Quieres ( what more do you want )
Pick up your toys or mommy will FRY at you (and yes I will do the same for the drummers kids on request!
The song choice as usual is a crime. Why not show someone with a background in harder type of metal something like Zen or Oiran instead of one of their softer songs?
Can you choose one band? Ado, Lovebites, the Warning, .... 😆
If he had chosen Ado, I would have recommended Odo. I really like that song.
But he finally did choose the Warning, then ... everything is good. Just draw one out of the hat.
