    I remember hearing about Eventide back in the late 90s. That brand was deemed to expensive by the other guys I knew. But the sounds are really versatile here. Euge, thank you my brother.

    Cool video. I think the little pre-set cards are a good idea to get you in the ballpark if you've never used a pedal before or something. I love pedals, I can noodle with them for hours. Have a Happy New Year Euge 🤘🤘
    P.S. Congrats on 18K!!!! Very well deserved my friend!

    I have the Eventide Tricerachorus and it really needs to be ran true stereo to get the most out of it I have a Fender stereo chorus amp and the Eventide with detuned chorus blows it away.. In mono it will definitely sound thin because it's based off the stereo h3000 rack. I love your videos especially the Zack Wylde tones are phenomenal

  • @Mrbs666
    @Mrbs666 Před 2 lety +1

    Seems to be more like a doubler effect than "pure" chorus effect, very subtle but effective. I'm more into big chorus sound, but definitely a nice tool. Love the tone you get with that axe too! Cheers!

    "Too much stuff" - that describes my issue with almost all the new single effect pedals, these days. If I buy a single effect, I want something simple. A few good controls and a great sound. I understand the multi-effects stuff with amp sims and stuff built in, like the rig-in-a-box stuff from Fractal and Line6 and all them - that's a different story. But if I want a chorus, I just want a damn chorus. Good review, as always! Also appreciate the honesty in saying that it's just a bit too much. A lot of people would try to spin that in a positive light, but it's not for everyone and it's refreshing to hear someone say that.

    Great video. Have you done a head to head yet between the EVH 5150 Chorus and the Boss Chorus Ensemble?
    To my ears that CE-2 is much better sounding and more useable than the Eventide. I’m sure it has some awesome tones but it’s the CE-2 all day for how I play.
    Hope you had a great Christmas and your New Year is everything you hope for.

    This makes me scream out 'Would Yamaha please release a new Magicstomp MK II! Though there are great sounding chorus units, to me the Holdsworth 8 Parallel modulated Delay platform is superior.
    I am guarding two units, but would be great if someone developed a modern version.
    Reverb, delay, chorus all can be dialed in. Pure genius
    One could apply all UD Stomp parameters to the MS MK II, when you see how each patch is programmed it will just reek of genius. In stereo live, the soloing patches and clean patches make it sound full and 3D. Fills up the mix

    Come on bro you can't make a video like that. Most of the time it sounded like you didn't even have the Eventide on, like when you were turning all the knobs and there was no difference in sound, of course the Boss will sound better in this situation. Not sure what you were doing, but it was almost like the Tricera wasn't even working properly.
