Such a glorious sounding pedal. Amazing that we can get this in one pedal while studio musicians were using multiple rack units that cost thousands of dollars a piece. But fuck it, let's bring back 80s racks!

I literally have sometimes, 5 or more CZcamsrs I follow reviewing the same gear at the same time and all your videos coming up in subscription around the same time. You guys are clearly fighting for pole position constantly. But your's are still some of the best there are Leon. And your Fractal videos have no equal. 😁

That mode where the chorus is more pronounced the softer you pick could be great for a Tabor style always-on effect. Dig in for dirt, roll back the volume for clean n' chorused.

About 4 minutes in it kind of reminds me of that slightly gritty Boston chorus sound.

Is the detune tone you play at the 5:00 minute mark based on a Preset in Eventide's Device Manager? You had mentioned the Schomozone and Tribrato presets, so curious to know if that's in there too. Have come close to dialing it in but the pedal is still new to me. Thanks and keep up the good work.

What chorus pedal mimics the tc electronic 1210 the best if you have tried it that is??
Dude. I have no idea how I missed this two years ago, but now I'm trying to decide if I want this or the micro pitch since it has that as well. Very very cool and of course that Strat and your playing is always too cool. I bet that Robotto guitar from South Africa ( probably spelled wrong ) . would sound awesome too! May I ask what pickups are in that green strat? I love the green see thru stain on that body and of course the inlays are just killer. Better than Steve Vai's

Bought it and have been using your preset for a few sessions! Question, I personally have been running this through the FX loop of a Roland JC40, what's your recommended hook up for this?

Thanks mate! I actually have no idea what they've got planned, but there's a few H9 algos that I think would be awesome in this format (Undulator, Pitchfuzz, Vintage Delay).

I wonder how this unit sounds compared to the h9, rack units and factor series pedals, cause the last one of these the pitch one to my ears did not sound as good as the legacy equipment it was emulating or the h9 and pitch factor.
what a sense to make pedals without analog dry through. maybe for studio. but in studio you can use better rack effects.

Please tell me this has a way to do the Eventide Undulater effect???? Used to have a Modfactor, and been considering buying another 1 for that specific effect, but it didn't have the trichorus effect, of both are together, I'm sold.
Undulator is it's own weird and wonderful thing - a Multitap delay modulated with a trem. I really, really would love if they did an undulator pedal.
It was my guess that this was going to be an Undulator standalone pedal-it is their classic, unique modulation algorithm. You are helping to justify their choice in this video, though.
I also miss the undulator so much since I got rid of my modfactor, same here!

Wow, now I'm thinking how it does compare to the MicroPitch pedal which is very similar in many ways.
The standalone Micropitch pedal works as a modulatable dual delay as well as offering 2 independent detuners, while this gives you chorus plus a basic detune. I need to do a vid comparing and combining them.

Bought the pedal yesterday. Could not power up using Strymon Zuma and Ojai power supplies. The unit only powered up with the accompanying power adapter. Am I missing something here? Anyone here experiencing the same problem?
I have it and it powered normally with a One Spot and daisy chain

Like the name says (tri) is it a 3 voice chorus? It sounds more than 3 voices .
3 voices BUT the phase relationship between them, and the ability to add detune, makes it sound massive

Strangely I'm yet to try the ola. Definitely a Strymon I should check out, along with the Brigadier.
Just bought one two days ago, loved the sound for about 35 mins, then it died. 45 min drive to return it.about 45.00 dollars worth of gas into this purchase, not sure I into purchasing another. Really bummed. Wanted so much to love this peddle......

Ha, I’m thinking the same thing. Though, I wasn’t disappointed until I saw this vid 😂 One of the worst things about the CE-2 is no mix/blend knob. Where are the knobs?!
The lack of a menu where you can tweak and save presets makes these pedals not even usable to me. A total copout by eventide
