She snatched his phone because she saw a romantic text message from another woman.
She chased him for 5-6 blocks in NYC after this alleged assault.
She called him 32 times after the alleged assault.
She went out clubbing, dancing and drinking after the alleged assault and showed no signs of injury.
He was the one who called the cops on her.
I believe she’s a scorned woman and when he sent her that breakup text she became hell bent on revenge.

It's wishful thinking to believe prosecutors only pursue cases they believe in. The system should work that way, but DA offices often have political agendas, that often dictates the level of discretion & types of convictions they pursue. , it is all too common for prosecutors in bigger cities to take on high-profile cases for notoriety.

    • @udhehfhehcuw9169
      @udhehfhehcuw9169 Před 5 měsíci +4

I disagree. High profile actors do not get prosecuted nearly often enough. DAs are often reluctant to take on the rich and powerful, as such work can be dangerous. Usually if it's done, it's because the evidence is overwhelming.

For elaboration, I have seen first hand as an attorney in a notable district high profile case that got taken on with measley or poor evidence because of the defendant's notoriety and or because of the high profile nature of the case. But, on the same hand there are plenty of cases that get thwarted early on because of a lack of evidence, resources, and because of effective lawyering.

@@udhehfhehcuw9169 I had a short stint doing criminal work and nothing high profile for me personally. But, I worked in a government agency for 10 years and saw colleagues working and trying notable cases once in awhile. For instance, the office I worked for represented the massage parlor owner that was falsely alleged to be participating in human trafficking where Robert Kraft had been a client. That DA is very political and even made a news press for that case, but that case against Kraft got dismissed and the parlor owner had to plea to a lesser charge. You should also look into the recent trial of Travis Rudolph. Palm Beach county, Broward, and Dade are interesting places where a lot of notable cases come through.

“Ms. Jabbari claims that Mr. Majors assaulted her in a car in Chinatown around 12:00 a.m. on March 25, 2023, and during this incident, Mr. Majors broke her finger and lacerated her ear,” Chaudhry wrote in a letter to Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Rachel S. Pauley on April 18.
“We have proof that this is a complete lie,” the legal aid told the courtroom on Tuesday, according to Insider.
    Inside the vehicle
Initially, Jabbari told authorities that Majors was assaulted while in a taxi as they were returning from a bar in Brooklyn.
But the driver, whose name remains anonymous, said that the California native never raised his voice or lifted a finger at Jabbari. In Chaudhry’s April letter to court officials, the lawyer revealed that Jabbari told officers she had started a fight with Majors “because she saw a text from another girl” and wanted to see his phone.
The London-based movement coach, who helped train the Hollywood star while filming this year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, grabbed at his phone out of jealousy and began to hit the actor. The driver pulled the car over, hoping to diffuse the situation, but Jabbari’s reportedly rage escalated.
Video footage of the argument obtained by Insider showed Majors attempting to flee from his then-girlfriend when the vehicle stopped. According to Chaudhry, Jabbari pulled the celeb so hard that his coat ripped in two as he was struggling to break free.
“And he’s, you know, a big guy, and she’s pulling him so hard that she pulls his body into the car,” the lawyer added.
Even in the midst of Jabbari’s chaotic behavior, the footage showed Majors keeping his cool when a group of fans came up to take selfies with him.
The video also captured Jabbari pulling her hair back into a bun and fiddling with her tresses with her right hand, the same hand that she claimed the actor injured during their spat in the vehicle.

    2. JM had to run 5 blocks in NY to get away from this woman and she still kept up to him
    3. JM is the one that called the cops
    4. The accuser was reported by the media, incorrectly, that she was passed out in the washroom when she had been in fact in a closet and phone records show she was texting 13min prior to police arriving.
    4. The cops can be heard on police cam couching the accuser to say JM strangled her so they can have probable cause to arrest him. Even though he called the police for wellness check.
    5. All charges by the police were dropped because they lied in their report about injuries. Only after accuser did affidavit did they file charges on her behalf.

Then she chased him down the street come on everyone who claim they are victim is not a victim, but most a lot of women will use that because they know the world will rally around them being the victim and protect them, but a lot of women are not victims because they say they are victims. This case does sound a lot like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. It seems there is a pattern of abuse in the relationship physically and mentally in both cases, however because the women end up staying, engaging and even fighting back instead of leaving, the women end up looking like they played a part in the abuse. Some could argue they are just as guilty, while others say they are victims of abusive and manipulative behaviors from which they responded. It’ll be up to the jury to decide which is true. It’ll be interesting if the jury decides in the same way as the JD/AH trial.

What the movement actually is is to take women seriously and investigate their claims. This didn't use to happen that often prior to the m2 movement.
