Causes of the Problem:
-Software-related issues may occur during updates or restores, leading to malfunctions.

Methods:
Method 1: Force Restart
●For older models: Press power and home buttons until Apple logo appears.
●For newer models: Press volume up, volume down, then hold side button until Apple logo appears.

Great to see someone’s guessing how to fix this problem by throwing everything they can think of at it. My phone’s treated with care; never dropped, immersed or roughly used, so it shouldn’t even be a problem from the start. It’s a pain to find the phone’s been on for day unknown to me and a problem Apple should be addressing

I have left my phone (iPhone 8) on the charger for over an hour. It died all the way while I was at a concert tonight. I went home, put it on the charger, and it constantly keeps turning on and off. I turned it on, tried to use it, and it turned back off after 20 seconds. Here's what it does:
Turns on to white background, black apple
Turns off
Turns on to lock screen
Turns off again after 20 seconds
Repeat
I can't even use it. The battery won't even go up. It's very frustrating!!!!
Update: Got a new phone a couple days ago, so we’re all good. Btw, the phone started working again.

@@joyceaguillo503 I left the phone charging all night, and then once I took it off, I turned it on, and bam, started working. The battery is still horrible, and the only reason I’m keeping it is because my photos didn’t transfer.
