During another short week in a massive Atlanta RICO trial, an attorney for rapper Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Williams, accused the prosecutor, Adriane Love, of lying to the judge during a sidebar at the bench. This comes just days after Judge Ural Glanville chastised all the attorneys for various problems, including filing motions at the last minute. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber explains some of the most explosive moments in the courtroom this week.

I think it's more going on with them. It sounds like they have some kinda relationship going on and she's angry and she's yelling at him. She's throwing tantrums . And she seems to know if she acts like this he's gonna give her what she wants. Love and the judge really need to be investigated.

And then there's another neverending story going on- all the "objection overuled" rulings the judge makes in Ms. Love's favor... Ain't no way the judge is impartial, he's clapping her cheeks in return for favorable rulings...

Talking over her colleagues constantly on past days, lying to the court, obscuring discovery to "protect her trial strategy", refusing to accept rulings LIKE THIS ONE and arguing ad nauseam until she gets her way or the judge finally takes control.

Also why is the Judge admonishing the defence for trial delays when they haven't even presented their case? The State is the one that listed 400 witnesses and still intends to call another 150 of them. This trial is absolutely insane

How TF do you have a Daubert hearing in front of the jury? A Daubert hearing is specifically for the judge to decide if the witness is qualified as an expert for the jury to hear on the issue. Yet the Judge had the hearing in front of the jury? Makes sense

Y'know I was watching the whole time they were bickering over that video AND I saw the video. I gave it no weight and immediately disregarded it, I wouldn't have given it a second thought if not for this recap.
