You can get this version via an Amazon UK seller from today, £13.99. On another note, someone on Ebay currently selling a blue box 'vintage' but clearly has US Games copyright on cards. 🙈
I bought the new US Games 100 % Plastic Rider Waite with the Empress on the box it says it’ll last 50 times longer then the paper cards.....trust me it a better deck and it’s a strong box
so I don't know much about all the different versions of this deck but I have the yellow box as my first deck after many years of having this gifted too me as a younger me I showed it on my A to Zed.... I feel special I am a part of the "yellow box" crew lol
I just noticed something, and I can’t be the first one to notice...the coloring in the cards match the elements of the zodiac.. pints (earth) have more green on the cars, swords (air) have more gray on the cards, stars ( fire )has more of an Orange/red, and cups (water) have more blue. It’s reflected in the major arcana as well. Love RWS. Just noticed the coloring and the elements . Have you noticed this?
I think its ironic that you of all people never had an old "yellowbox". Not to sound old but in my day thats the only one we had. The old ones as you know were printed in Switzerland, and I remember them being packed so solid that when you opened them it would hiss, kinda like with a brick of coffee. Where were these new ones printed? (Sorry if you said and I missed it) 😊 🇨🇦
I wonder what would happen to the recent RWS with the regular font ( not Pixies)? Would US Games make it OOP? and proceed producing the new version moving forward? Thank you
I like the new deck, even although I generally like the ones with less smack you in the face yellows =) I don't have an actual RWS yet *ducks*. I want to get the borderless and the Radiant Wise because of the nicer colours. Here's a question for you Simon ... I thought I saw a Radiant Wise deck in a big box with a big book. Did I? It appears that the general copy is just in a tuck box. If I wasn't imagining things, is it a fortune more to buy the big box with the book? Please & tyvm Sir!
Deb I have the Radiant Wise deck and it has a nicer box, not a tuck box. I’m releasing a flip through this week on it. I’m disappointed with it. The coloring is nice but it’s a very messy drawing of the cards and is not crisp. The back of the cards is nice. The finish is really glossy and cardstock is thick so it’s hard to shuffle. The finish makes the cards stick together. Sigh. I was really excited to get it but it didn’t meet expectations.

The Amazon UK seller at £13.99 is selling counterfeit decks - I know because I bought one and then reported them to Amazon. Avoid.

Yes that’s exactly what would happen. This replaces older versions.

AGM version has a very thin cards.. and less Blue into the drawings. I really don't like that deck 😑
