Started off with 6 perfect books, a perfect stand-alone book with the same excellent protagonist, and then it slowly dipped, bottomed out, rose to good, and fell again. I’ve never read a series of books I so throughly love as The Prophecies Begin, which I believe to be a genuine masterpiece of plot, theme, mystery, world, and character, and then have it be so thoroughly tarnished by near everything which came after
I’m also pissed that we had to see Firestar die, and Sandstorm, Dustpelt, and Graystripe (who somehow managed to live longer than the cat with nine lives)

I remember buying my first warriors book at a scholastic book fair in fall 2003 in the 3rd grade it’s so awesome to see how big the fandom has gotten and that people still read them in 2024.

@Sp0ttedTail that's all good. There was a poll on the warriors' website in between Shadow and Thunder, to name one of the park cats. It was huge in Twitter when it was live. This cat was named after someone's pet, assumedly, and was put to a poll where tons of fans could name the cat. Waffle was the winner, and we have a cat named Waffle in Thunder who might become Wafflepaw in Wind. I sorta wanna know if Waffle won because the Firestar doesn't like waffles video from when I was a kid.
I hate to tell you this, but as someone who has actually counted all the books and have them listed in a spreadsheet... there's only 89. 90 tomorrow, when the next book comes out. And yes, that's counting all the manga, super editions, etc.

Don't listen, you are right. There are 89 (or 85 if count a little different) not 103. They just count whatever they see in the Warriors website without stopping to see if some books are reprinted

What you are doing is counding Hollyleaf's story, Cloudstar's journey and Mistystar's omen AND Untold stories (a book that is just the three books put together into one) as 4 separate books.

203 books!? What? No way. You are doing something wrong. There are currently 87 or something books. The seperate novellas (e-books) doesn't count bc they have been reprinted and from the graphic novels you can either count seperate the three books of a trilogy or the reprinted colored version (if there is any)

@@Sp0ttedTail I think they don't count. Like why would you count FOUR times Graystripe's Adventure (full colour version and the original trilogy)? Either you count the trilogy or the full color book. Same with the novellas. You either count the books with the three novellas or each novella seperatly. You can't just go in the official page wich have all books and just count them. And I think that the Erins are going to do something special when they reach 100 books or at least create an article in the official website.
