- After two and a half long years, its finally here! Please enjoy our fan adaptation of Warriors: Into the Wild.
We're a team of over 50 independent artists, animators, voice actors, 3D modelers and more working to create a fan-made 3D adaptation of Erin Hunter's Warriors series! Our series is a passion project; we are not profiting off of our Warriors work, meaning that it is being created solely for the enjoyment of the team and Warriors fans everywhere. We are not affiliated with the Erin Hunter team.

Hi everyone, Kaida here! I have some good news, and bad news.
Before that, however, I wanted to let everyone know about a few upcoming videos we have planned:
April 8th: Into the Wild OST
April 15th: Behind the Scenes, Bloopers, and Technical Goofs
April 22nd: A surprise!
Little Dragon Studios will no longer be producing episodes of Into the Wild. Over the past few months, we have been in discussions with the official Warrior Cats team. Due to updates in their FAQ and fanart guidelines, they have asked that we avoid animating any further storylines that are direct adaptations from the books/series of Warrior Cats which means going forward we will cease production on Into the Wild. They explained that if a video or series of video clips/episodes sets out to tell a significant part of the exact stories from the books then there is a chance they may be removed, as this oversteps into copyright infringement. However, they were generous enough to allow us to share all the hard work that we had done on this episode with you. We hope you enjoyed the episode! (Unfortunately the episode does end on a cliffhanger, so if you want to know what happens next you can read the book!)
The good news is that this is not the end of Little Dragon Studios. We will be moving on to new things, creating original stories and animations! A few ideas are in the works, but nothing is far enough along that we can share just yet. Stay tuned over the next few months to find out!
I’d like to thank all of you for being so patient with us as we produced Into the Wild. It was an incredible experience to work with such a talented team. Despite not being able to continue, it gave us exactly what we came here to do: learn, grow, and most importantly, have fun doing so. Here’s to a bright future!

I wish for once a company would see projects like this and instead of instantly hitting the lawyer button, would actually go “You know what you guys obviously love the stories and are huge fans. Let’s work on a project together.” There needs to be a difference between passion work and cash in work.
This is so true! I'm so disappointed that the warriors team basically made them throw away such a well thought out and beautiful project. I wish there were more episodes, this would be such an amazing show to watch if it weren't for the warriors team. If I owned such a big book series and had a huge community full of such talented people like this, I would promote their art instead of making them stop producing. L warriors team!!!!!
To be fair, if the Erins didn't ask them to stop, CZcams itself would've made them stop as Warriors is a copyrighted series. CZcams doing something would be far worse.

The same way there are so many commentary channels and they objectively put much less of their own input than a whole animation project. Besides, youtube bot copyright system is ASTROCIOUS when it comes to plagiarism of books and visual content

Yknow, this brings me back to the days of SSS Warrior Cats. I’m however pretty disappointed in the warrior cats team for blocking off such a dedicated, amazing project. As somebody with experience animating (though I’m more of a 2D animator) I understand how long this must have taken, and the dedication everyone must have put forward. The artists of this fandom never cease to amaze.

The past 3 years of production on this has been the best experience of my life. I have met so many amazing and talented people in the studio and I have learned so many cool new talents. The amount of love that went into this cannot be measured, and I hope everyone enjoys this. Kaida has to be one of the best people I've ever met, and creating this studio for us is something I will forever be grateful to her for. I cannot wait to continue working with the studio for as long as our creativity flows, and develop a bigger family within Little Dragon Studios. Love ya'll, we did amazing!

It really sucks that copyright laws are stopping this kind of animation. The warriors community have always wanted something like this and honestly it would have been so awesome to see all the characters I loved in the books brought into a movie. I really wish they stopped trying to squeeze new books out of a series that died a long time ago and bring to life what the community actually wants.
I have no idea why, but Longtail's design is so fabulous, and I am very atracted to it

I’ve waited too many years to see a perfect Warriors adaptation, and I’ve finally found it. This is absolutely beautiful. Stunning character designs, voice acting, animation, shading, camera angles, and everything else. This is definitely something I’ll watch again :)

I can tell a lot of hard work went into this, and it sucks that there won't be anymore episodes due to copyright issues. Thank you to the team for working so hard and making it look so professional/polished! The audio design was really good too!

Bluestar's voice is so similar to how I imagined it sounded! Also, I just love how most lines are the exact same as they are in the books. I thank the whole team for all their effort to animate such detailed 3D models, giving everything proper lighting, movement, background music, and sound effects. Truly an amazing piece of art that everyone worked together and took good part in to create.

Oh my gosh! I read these when I was 11!! Almost 10 years later and FINALLY a beautiful adaptation! The vision of Firestar was BEAUTIFUL!!!

This is probably the most ambitious Warriors project since SSS Warriors cats (in terms of scale). The animation here is really well done with each cat actually looking alive with their facial and tail expressions. Small details like Whitestorm winking at Rusty ( 19:18 )is well appreciated and shows the amount of care they put into every Cat. The voice acting is overall good throughout with some great performances for Bluestar, Smudge, Rusty, Greypaw and Longtail.
The series getting stopped by the Warriors Team getting involved is very disappointing and frustrating due to the long wait the fandom has waited for the actual Warriors movie with no significant updates. I hope WC Animated doesn't face the same fate but I'm not hopeful right now.
Oh, Shit they stepped in and stopped them from making another one? That sucks so much on so many levels. And I REALLY hope they don't come for WC animations too.

Edit: I realized I allowed my irritation at the WC team for forcing you to stop producing this to overshadow how I actually felt about the project, LMAO. In a word, STUNNING. Somehow you mage me feel exactly like how I felt in elementary when I was reading the very first WC book that I borrowed from my local library. The voice performances portrayed the characters perfectly, especially Bluestar, and with a little more polish I could see this coming directly out of a big studio as a quality labor of love.
However, its so fcking annoying that the studio, of course, decided to rain on everyone's parade. Really, Erin Hunter? Relax. You are not Disney, and fan content is what's keeping people even INTERESTED in this series in 2023. If SEGA and FNAF can stomach fan content being made out of love then so can you, ERIN.

Yeah, like what the heck?! What is wrong with some people?? If I made a popular book series I’d be thrilled to see people with a passion for it taking the time to animate my work. It’s literally free advertisement. So if an official animated series were to one day come out, it would literally lead to more people discovering it, or discovering the series in the first place. I don’t understand why people get so messed up about it and use copyright to screw over creativity. Thank goodness there are some like Sega, FNAF and Minecraft that aren’t so hateful to their community for literally no reason.

I am so happy to see this come together! Having the privilege to lend my vocals to Ravenpaw and One Eye as one of the background voices was truly such a wonderful experience. Ravenpaw's voice was one of my personal favorites! You made him sound like he was genuinely horrified and struggling to get the words out, which in my opinion, is exactly how that scene should be portrayed!

while it's upsetting and disappointing to know that this project shall not be continued, this was an amazing piece of work you guys have produced. 2-3 years of creating this is insane, that's about the same time it takes to create a regular movie/show! the voice-acting, scenery, models, and movements are amazing and very well-made, i'm normally not one to enjoy animated series's but this had me hooked! kudos to those who took part in this wonderful project. i'm excited to see what LDS will be working on in the future.

This project has been amazing to work on and I'm so thrilled to see it finally completed! Voicing bluestar was really fun, composing music taught me a lot about cinematic scoring, and doing the sound design was a wild ride.
This took so many people to bring to life and I'm thankful to every single person who contributed their talents to this project. So proud of this team for finishing such a huge undertaking. Congratulations everyone! ❤
Edit: I almost forgot to mention, HUGE THANKS to everyone who submitted improv lines for background cats. You have no idea how entertaining it was doing the sound design for scenes with crowd cats. People had some genuinely creative takes and invented really fitting clan cat dialogue or otherwise just totally nailed it with believable lines. Well done and thank you to everyone who contributed their voices! It was really fun to put together 🥲

Also lololol I was initially so nervous about my recordings, and was honestly SO surprised when I found out my background lines were used for the crowd scene! I’m so grateful that I got to contribute in some way to the audible content of the episode- thank you so much for everything you’ve done behind the scenes!

I’m so, so, SO proud of everyone in the studio team. The amount of coordination, creativity, and planning it took for this episode to come into being is INSANE! As a translator for the pilot episode, my partner and I had to translate *over 200 lines of dialogue* to our native language; this was such a daunting task, but thanks to the feedback and advice given by our fellow translators, we were able to get our work done in time. My hope is that, thanks to the efforts of everyone in the translation department, fans all around the globe will be able to enjoy Little Dragon Studios’ adaptation of “Into the Wild.”
(As well, I am so UNBELIEVABLY stoked that MY VOICE LINES were used for some of the background cats’ reactions during the epic Longtail V.S. Firepaw fight! As a Warriors fan from childhood, I cannot emphasize enough how much this means to me… 🥹)
I want to extend my special thanks to all the wonderful writers, concept artists, storyboarders, animators, 3D character creators, character designers, composers, texture artists, graphic designers, render farmers, asset creators, translators, and of course, voice actors who lent their skills to the creation of Episode 1. You guys are AMAZING!
Finally, Kaida, thank you so much for founding this project. Without you, none of this would exist.
Beeing a translator is a really important task, thank you for doing this because you helped the project get done at least a little faster, feel proud for it :D

Loved every minute of this and I’m so happy and grateful that the fans of warrior cats enjoyed not just my performance as LionHeart but everyone’s hard work for this project. I can’t express how happy it makes me to see all of little dragons studios work being recognized along with the support. This won’t be the last time I work with them but from the bottom of my heart thank you everyone who worked on this project but most of all thank you guys for tuning in and watching, sharing, and just being overall amazing and I’m proud that I got the opportunity to voice such a great wise character ❤🙏🏾

Oh my gosh, the designs for the cats are amazing in this (especially Firepaw, he's just like how I imagine him), the voice acting is amazing, it's amazing how it's faithful to the books... I just wish the Warriors team would've let you guys keep going :( I'll support you during your other projects but man, you would've created such an amazing warrior cats movie.
When Warrior Cats movie wasn't a thing, these people came together and dropped this masterpiece. This was truly an experience to watch, even though it was only a small part of the book. Masive congratulations to everyone on the team.

This is so impressive. I absolutely love the dedication and accuracy to the original source material. I love all the character designs too, especially Bluestar, Firepaw and Greypaw. This felt like a real kids cartoon. Its a shame that the Erins wouldnt allow you to continue. Best of luck with your future projects, you have a lot of talent.

this was truly a nostalgia trip, such incredible work has been put into this, it truly felt like i was 11 again reading this book for the first time. The young me would have been absolutely enamored with this, its a shame you weren't allowed to continue, but I'm greatly impressed with what you all did.
Being involved in the production of this as a storyboarder has been a privilege and an honor. This was my first experience working in a studio and I've had so much fun working with the team so far!! Everyone's excited about the final product and puts their hearts into their work. It's already been two years somehow, and it's come a long way!
I hope everyone enjoyed this. I sure did!!! I'm super thankful to Kaida and all the wonderful crew members for creating such a gorgeous and unique retelling of the first book.
