I assume that like other lithium batteries, if they go too low the charger won't recognize it. Is there anyone confortable enough with the device as to where I might give it a bump from another 12 volt device?
Really AWESOME job on the video! Very easy to understand and could easily see how it works with the clips and sliding it off. I have a Bolt Air Plus and I am trying to remove the cover off that with no luck so far. This one has 2 holes and when I put a tiny nail in to release something; it seems to just go all the way in and doesn't stop anywhere. 🙄 If ever possible, I would Love to see a video on how to remove the cover on the Bolt Air and what everything looks like inside. Thanks Again for your Awesome video! Steven
lol I’m in the middle of destruction right now and said man this can’t be right I’m getting frustrated almost bending my fixed blade and dulling it broke the my heavy duty utility knife blade can’t fit my pry tool in it. Thankyou for this video since we all deal with this P.o.s charging issue they do nothing about
I'm sure it is, but I was not certain the battery was the issue. There is a log of electronics in this thing so it could have been a charging issue. I'm not smart enough to tackle that so I just tossed it.
Mine didn't have those tiny holes 😔 😪 guess I might have to tear it apart eventually. The house got flooded from washing machine. Waking ⏰ up inside water 💧 😅😅😅😅
I've had one for several years and there's no holes in the sides, so that kills your theory about Halo removing them because of your video. There's no holes anywhere on the device. Did you drill those yourself? I have not removed a foot pad to see if there's a screw under each one but I will if I ever have a need to open it.
Mine doesn't have the holes either. What a dismal device. I used it once to try to jump start a guy's motorcycle at the gym but it could barely turn it over with a full charge. Then I've made sure it was always charged and it showed two bars one day so I decided to charge it. In the morning it showed one bar flashing but wouldn't charge with the wall plug-in even after plugging it in waiting a few seconds then plugging it into the device as suggested. Also tried charging it with 12 volt cigarette adapter with no success. I wish there was a way to warn people not to buy this hunk of junk. I'm at least going to pry the top off and charge the battery with my RC drone charger then shoot it with a gun and email it to them

Thanks for the comment. I just wish I knew enough about electronics to repair it.

Turns out I have 0 holes 😅
great way of showing how you opened it but watched the whole video to no avail on how it might be repaired?
Understood. Wish I could have repaired it, but getting it open is the first step.
Were you able to diagnose and/or repair it? My unit is having the exact same problem and is out of warranty as well.
No, I was hoping when I got it open I would see something obvious, but I did not. I am not an electronics wiz so I just trashed it.
Where I buy adaptor?
is it possible to replace the batteries?

Why did you open it? Were you attempting to repair it?
I thought I'd see if I could, but when I got it open there was too many electronics. I decided not to try it.
I hate when companies make products that require tricks to make them open.
I think this one is the worst I have seen to get open.
I know, in this case I think its because there is really nothing for the common consumer to fix inside this thing. I you know electronics maybe.

That goes for most electronics.

humm.... Maybe they saw my video and changed the design... hahah.

Perhaps the holes are only on the device with "wireless charging".🤷♂

Too much talking.
thanks for the feedback.
