YOLA National Accelerator 2023
I am a teaching artist in PLAY Music with the Winston Salem Symphony. PLAY Music is an El Sistema program in Winston Salem, NC that provides music education at no cost to many children in Winston Salem. Once a year YOLA sponsors professional development to build the strength of programs.
Myself and another teaching artist traveled to Los Angeles, CA to take part at no cost to us.
Thank you to Gustavo Dudamel, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, YOLA and all their partners, El Sistema, and the awesome students that we met and saw performances of, teaching artists, fellow program directors, B + A, and facilities management.
