His story is hard to believe. I am in the water all the time. I never heard of someone looking the wrong way causing one to become paralyzed. Like the description states, it is more likely, he DOVE into SHALLOW WATER and hit his head. If you simply fall over from a standing position with very little momentum, you will not break your neck. Not saying it could not happen but if it were common, then pretty much everyone would be paralyzed. A forward and down momentum (diving) is what causes it very often. Glad he is feeling better and back to drilling teeth. Big tip folks NEVER use mouthwash. Not at all healthy.
