After a accident at the age of nineteen, Dennie Jager was told by a doctor that he would never be able to walk again because of the spinal cord injury he had sustained. Something Dennie refused to accept. In this TEDtalk, Dennie shows that you should never let anyone tell you that something is impossible, how impossible it may seem. After a serious accident at the age of nineteen, Dennie Jager suffered a spinal cord injury. He refused to accept the doctor's words that he could never walk again. His perseverance is paying off. Now, at the age of twenty-four, he is walking with the help of an exoskeleton and has set up the foundation 'walk on' to ensure that fellow sufferers also have the opportunity to walk again and thereby can improve their health, both physically and mentally. Amazing! I had a spinal cord tumor from C4 to T6 and was told I'd never walk again. Yet here I am, walking! And now I'm a nurse that gets to help take care of others in need.

My wife was told she would never walk again after surviving a cardiac arrest and being wheel chair bound, she was 29 yrs old at the time. Now 6 years later she is walking and living. The impossible is possible. Don't give up hope 🙏
