In 2023, Peter Haas was very hyperactive in Bangladesh politics. He was meeting BNP leaders almost every week. He was visiting anti government newspaper offices. He was meeting anti Awami intellectuals round the year. US State Department officials kept visiting Bangladesh. State Department was warning economic sanctions and punishing visa restrictions. Everything to tilt the election towards BNP. Indian ambassador was not active at all. In final round, in two plus two meeting between India and America, India told their preference for Awami League. America became neutralized in the final hour. I don’t count European countries which are Ditto to America.

It is the duty of India as a big neighbor calming down the ignite between this relationship. Only helping Bangladesh in liberation for India's own self interests shouldn't play always in favour of all the wrongdoings against BD.
