Theres apparently some big movement about to happen within the KTM group and how they structure their teams. Certain KTM group riders will lose rides in the next 1-2 years due to this so possibly Cole and his family thought they better jump ship now incase they get screwed by this restructure

To be fair it is the move in to the pro's that is costing KTM and not the Junior managers. In Deegans case it was the monster deal but in general there just isn't the opportunities at KTM when moving in to the pro's as there is at star. Everybody has seen Deegan's time at Star and this is extremely attractive to this current talented bunch of juniors. They know that in 2 years deegs might be timed out on the 250's and so are looking to be the next thing after Deegan.
What results are they? Mx and SX championship, almost a second one before a freak injury or finishing 4th in the championship this year after not racing for a while. I’d say he is doing alright.

Chase Sexton is the only rider competitive .. was always gonna beat Tomac but couldn't Can't beat Jett .. Jett is beating no one.. He turned up at the right and very lucky time
